Where can you actually find the river shrimp in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot? Where to look for the river shrimp for the side quest called “Worried Cyborg”? In the new DBZ Kakarot there are a number of side quests where you have to search for, find and bring back certain items. These side quests include the “Worried Cyborg”, which you can do in the course of the Majin Boo saga. For the side quest you have to get a total of three different items for the client named C-18. This includes frozen rabbit meat and high-quality onions, but also includes river shrimp. During the side mission we asked ourselves the question, where can you find the river shrimp in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot?

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot: River Shrimp Location

The river shrimp can, of course, be found near water such as a river. To get the twelve shrimps, you simply have to search on the bank of the river in the southeastern mountain area near Son Goku’s house. Dragon Ball Z Kakarot: How to set the difficulty level?

How to adjust difficulty in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot? What to do if the new DBZ Kakarot is too light or too heavy? Once you have embarked on the adventure of the new action role-playing game and become a little familiar with the basic features and controls, then sooner or later the question will arise: what is the level of difficulty? The question arises especially when you complete the first real boss fight in the game, namely the fight against Raditz. The fight is quite difficult, depending on how well you can handle the controls and what level you have reached. But is there actually a setting for the level of difficulty?

Change difficulty level in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot?

There is currently no setting in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot that allows you to adjust or change the difficulty level. Neither at the beginning nor during the course of the game can you have a direct influence on the level of difficulty. If the fights are too difficult, you should firstly check which level is recommended, but secondly you should also familiarize yourself with the skills, upgrades and items such as healing items. If you pay attention to the recommended level for a mission, then the difficulty level is not particularly easy but not particularly difficult either, so that you can successfully master even tricky fights on the second or third try at the latest.

New Game Plus in DBZ Kakarot?

Once you get familiar with the controls and spend a few hours playing the game, you will later have the problem that the game becomes too easy. Away from the bosses, you look in vain for a real challenge. In the current version there is no New Game Plus mode in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot.

In the new action role-playing game DBZ Kakarot you will meet some well-known characters and many of them are playable, even if you only gradually unlock them in the story. If you have unlocked a character and have been playing with it for a while, then one or the other may ask the question, are there such things as skins or outfits? Hardly any game these days comes out without skins or other cosmetic customization options, but what does Dragon Ball Z Kakarot actually look like?

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot: Change appearance, clothes and outfit?

The short answer to the question is, according to current information, there are no customization options when it comes to the appearance of the playable characters in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. Without wanting to spoil too much, in certain parts of the story the appearance of individual characters and sometimes their clothing changes, but this is only temporary and you cannot have any direct influence on it yourself.

Since the game has only been on the market for a few days, it could of course be that something will change in the future. Where to find the giant fat fish in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot? How do you catch the fat giant fish to complete the Chi-Chi side quest? In the new DBZ Kakarot you have to get certain items in many side quests. Even though you can usually find many of the items you are looking for quite quickly, there are also some items that you don’t even know where to look for. This may also be the case for some players with the fat giant fish that you have to look for for a side task alongside the selected beast meat and the frozen rabbit meat.

DBZ Kakarot: Where can you find the fat giant fish?

The fat giant fish can be caught relatively easily and you can do this at several fishing spots in the game world. We caught the fat giant fish in the “Son Goku’s House” section in the southeastern mountain area. Once in this section, follow the river from the spawn point to the northwest. You will then find a fishing spot on the river where you can find and fish for the giant fish you are looking for. We didn’t use any bait, but it took us a few tries before the giant fish bit. If you don’t catch the fat giant fish straight away, just try again and after three to four attempts at the latest it should be hanging on the fishing hook.

In the linked articles we have already described how to get the other two items you are looking for for the Chi-Chi side quest. These include the choice beast meat, which can be found at Blake Swamp, and the frozen rabbit meat, which can be found in Darlinge Polynya in the north under large and destructible ice blocks.

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot: Find Blue Fish

Where to find the blue fish in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot? How can you fish for the blue fish and get three of them? This question may be on the minds of some DBZ Kakarot players who either need to find and fish for three blue fish for a side quest or who are looking for a fat giant fish that is also needed for another side quest. So if you’re looking for a location and a fishing spot for the blue fish, this short guide might be able to help you.

DBZ Kakarot: Where can you fish for the blue fish?

Contrary to expectations, the blue fish are not seen in the water that often, but for us it took a relatively long time. We caught the blue fish and also the fat giant fish at a fishing spot near Son Goku’s house in the southeastern mountain area. From the spawn point at Son Goku’s house, fly up the river to the northeast and then try your luck at the fishing spot. The fishing spot is also shown on the map with a fish symbol.

As already mentioned, it took us some time before we got a blue fish on the hook. By using bait such as the Bite-me Crab, you can slightly increase the likelihood of more fish like the Blue Fish appearing in the water (the fishing bait can be found as well as purchased with Zeni from the Material Merchant) . After a few attempts at the latest you should have a blue fish on the hook and when you have caught three of them you can complete the side quest.

Tip: This is how you can earn money quickly in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot and we also show the location of the royal tomato, which you have to get as part of a side quest.

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Multiplayer: Play in co-op with two people?

Is there actually multiplayer in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot? Can you also play the new Dragon Ball game on the PS4, Xbox One and PC in online multiplayer or in offline co-op via split-screen mode? This question may be asked by some buyers of the new DBZ Kakarot, which was released a few days ago and is receiving a number of good to very good reviews not only from the press, but also from players. The question of multiplayer arises mainly because many older Dragon Ball games such as Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 also included multiplayer, where you can compete against friends or other players and prove your skills. But what about the current title and what is possible in terms of multiplayer?

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot: online multiplayer or offline co-op?

Even though the gameplay of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot would certainly lend itself to online multiplayer or offline co-op for two on one console, the game does not have multiplayer, at least when it is released. You cannot play the game online or offline with friends on a console in split screen. This applies to both the console version on PS4 and Xbox One as well as the PC version of the game. Currently, Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is a purely single-player experience that you can only experience alone and not online or locally with friends. According to reports, there is currently no multiplayer mode planned for the game, so you probably shouldn’t have the highest hopes for this.

If, contrary to expectations, something changes on the topic and an update with a multiplayer mode is released for Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, then we will of course add the information to this article.

DBZ Kakarot: Find pure red, green and blue crystal

Similar to the case with gold and refined gold, you can also farm pure crystals as normal at the material warehouses, where you can also find the normal crystals. So just go to a mineral warehouse and farm the crystals on the ground there. With a bit of luck, there will also be a pure crystal in the respective color.

  • Pure Red Crystal: Fast travel to Lucca Village, then turn around 180 degrees and follow the red Z-balls. Behind the waterfall you will find a cave entrance, where you can find the pure red crystals both at the entrance and in the cave material storage.
  • Pure Blue Crystal: Fast travel to Darlinge Polynya, fly to the north of the map and there you will find two material caches with blue crystals.
  • Pure Green Crystal: Fast travel to Kodaiho Land, turn about 90 degrees to the right from the spawn point and fly straight ahead. In a meadow with many trees you will find a small cave entrance. There is a materials store in the cave, where you can find pure green crystals in addition to normal green crystals.

There are also mods with which you can remove the 60 FPS lock in the game and play with more than 60 frames per second (assuming you have the hardware). Some players may be wondering, how does installing the DBZ Kakarot mods work?

  1. First you have to create a subfolder called “~mods” in the installation directory of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot under “Steam\steamapps\common\DRAGON BALL Z KAKAROT\AT\Content\Paks”.
  2. You now have to move the .pak file from the mod download/archive into the folder. If you want to install and use several mods at the same time, simply move all mod files into the folder.
  3. In order for the mods to be activated, the game must be restarted (if you still have it running in the background).
