Horizon Zero Dawn: Frozen Wilds – Here you can farm badger bones and skins (Badger Bone & Skin Farming Locations)

Badgers are among the animals you will find in Horizon Zero Dawn: Frozen Wilds can hunt. They can be found in various locations in the new area and their skin/fur and bones are used for crafting materials. They are white which is why they are often difficult to spot in all the snow. What’s more, they are rather rare. Read on to learn where you can farm badger bones and hides to make hunting easier.

Locations of badger skins and bones

Unlike what other games have taught us, badgers are in Horizon Zero Dawn quite peaceful and safe. If you approach them, they will try to run away. But since they have short legs and the snow is quite deep, they are not very fast. That’s why hunting is all about knowing where to find them. Badgers are unlikely to be able to escape Alloy, but they are quite difficult to spot even if you stand close to them.

Since these animals are rare, you should invest a point in the Expert Carver skill, which increases the chance of animal parts being dropped. A really easy lair to farm is in the Cut. It is located on the southern edge of this region, a little east of the passage that connects it to the rest of the map. You should definitely use the scanner to locate the exact location of the badgers as they are really easy to miss.

Sims 4 Find Bone Dust: Buy Antidote

Where do you actually find bone dust in The Sims 4? How to make or buy the antidote if the Sim poisoned themselves while exploring the jungle? One or two players of The Sims 4 who have purchased the jungle adventure gameplay pack and have explored the new area a little will perhaps be concerned with these questions. With the jungle adventure you can travel with the Sims to Selva Dorada and explore a lot there. But there are also some dangers lurking in the jungle, including poisoning. To cure the poisoning you need an antidote and one of the ways you can get this is through ancient bone dust.

Where do you get the bone dust from?

To get the bone dust, you don’t have to do much other than explore the area in Selva Dorada. The bone dust can be found, among other things, during investigations and excavations (e.g. the piles on the ground or other objects). You can also find the bone dust from time to time in the chests that can be found in the jungle around the temple. If you have already explored the jungle or the temple a bit, you should open the Sim’s inventory and see if you have found bone dust by chance.

Buy bone dust: If you need bone dust quickly for the antidote, you can buy it later. Once you reach level 5 of the Selvadoradian Culture skill, you can purchase bone dust from the merchant in Selva Dorada.

Buy and make antivenom?

If the Sim is poisoned, an antidote must be found within three days, otherwise the Sim will die from the poisoning. There are various ways to get the antidote, including exchanging it for bone dust.

  • Exchange the bone dust with the local trader for an antidote
  • Buy the antidote on the computer (price 1,000 Simoleons)
  • Ask for a blessing from the statue of Mother Cosecha at the Puerto Llammante market square (price 250 Simoleons)
  • Activate the Blessing of Bones on an artifact

By the way, there is also a cheat for poisoning. Accordingly, you can also use an “antidote cheat” in which you simply remove the poisoning.

  • sims.add_buff curses_MarkedForDeath_Rare – Poisoning Cheat

Update: Unfortunately, the buff removal cheats no longer work in The Sims 4.
