Storm Domingos: rivers overflow in Haute-Vienne after heavy rain

During the night from Saturday to Sunday, rain continued to fall in Haute-Vienne. In some municipalities, 30 to 50 millimeters of rain fell, up to 60 millimeters locally.

In La Jonchère-Saint-Maurice, in the north-east of the department, 48.3 mm fell in just 24 hours according to data collected by Météociel.

As a result, in certain municipalities, watercourses are overflowing. Under the Pierre à Bellac bridge, the Vincou overflowed even under the picnic tables located nearby. In the afternoon, the Vincou flooded departmental road 7 linking the municipalities of Thouron to Buis.

In Maisonnais-sur-Tardoire, west of Haute-Vienne, the Tardoire, placed on yellow alert, displayed, at its highest, in the morning a threshold of 45 centimeters above normal. According to the government website Vigicrues, on soils already saturated with water, the current heavy rains and those announced for the next 24 hours are causing the levels of the section’s watercourses to react upwards. The flood is moderate.

For the Gartempe, placed on yellow alert, which flows in Haute-Vienne, but also in Creuse, the heavy rains of the previous night combined with the precipitation expected this Sunday are causing the levels of the rivers in the section to rise.

The precipitation also had an impact on the level of the Vienne. The flood is low according to Vigicrues, but overflows can be observed locally.

Like in Aixe-sur-Vienne, where the Aixette rose this Sunday morning to 1.30 meters. Vigicrues predicts a rise in the level of the watercourse which could reach between 1.89 meters and 1.97 meters in the evening. The trend is increasing at the station located in Limoges and the flood peak should be observed upstream of the section in the early evening.

Vigicrues also recorded increases in Vienne which reached 1.65 meters in Eymoutiers, more than one meter in Limoges at the Pont-Neuf station, and 1.42 meters in Saint-Priest-Taurion. The Taurion River, a tributary of the Vienne, also saw its level rise to 1.34 meters at its highest this Sunday morning.

In Condat-sur-Vienne, the Briance reached 2.82 meters shortly before 10 a.m. this Sunday, before falling again at 1 p.m. to 2.65 meters. In Roziers-Saint-Georges, it is the Combade which saw its level rise to more than one meter, just like the Maulde near Peyrat-le-Château (1.62 meters).

In Saint-Hilaire-Bonneval, the road was flooded by the Roselle under the bridge which bears its name.

Corrèze: around fifteen interventions by firefighters during the night, a significant risk of flooding

Pokemon Arceus: Recognize and catch heavy specimens?

Anyone who is currently doing the Pokedex tasks in Pokemon Legends Arceus may have asked themselves what the “Large Specimens” and the “Heavy Specimens” are all about. For many Pokemon, the task is to catch a large or heavy one in addition to the normal specimen, but what exactly does that mean and can you find the other specimens in the same locations as the “normal” specimen?

Pokémon Legends Arceus: Catch heavy and large specimens?

So the question arises, how can you recognize the large or heavy specimens in Pokemon Arceus? Yes, you can distinguish a large specimen from a normal one and also a heavy specimen from a normal specimen. The problem is that the difference in size between the Pokemon is so small that it is difficult to recognize them without a direct comparison. Even sneaking up and targeting it beforehand does not provide any information about whether it is a normal, heavy or large Pokemon.

In short, you can actually only complete the Pokedex task by simply catching all the Pokemon of the species and with a bit of luck, the specimens you are looking for will usually be there. Alternatively, you could of course compare the Pokemon in size, but as mentioned above, it’s not that easy due to the small difference in size. You can throw a Pokeball more quickly and take a few normal specimens with you as “bycatch”. The Pokemon that have been caught twice and three times can later be released across the meadow.

Unlike the elite Pokemon, the heavy and large specimens do not differ in appearance and do not have red eyes, but only slightly in size and dimensions.

Tip: This is how you can earn money quickly in Pokémon Legends Arceus and easily farm Pokedollars in the early and mid-game.

God of War (2018) – How to Get Breath of Thamur & Meteoric Slam Heavy Runic Attacks (Crest of Surtr Guide)

Crest of Surtr is a crafting material in God of War. You need it to unlock the Heavy Runic Attacks called Breath of Thamur and Meteoric Slam. Unfortunately, Crest of Surtr is a fairly rare material that you can only get from one location. Read on to learn where to find this material and how to get Meteoric Slam & Breath of Thamur.

This is how you get Crest of Surtr as well as Meteoric Slam & Breath of Thamur

To Crest of Surtr in God of War To get it, you have to complete the Muspelheim Trials. As the name suggests, you have to take on these trials/challenges in Muspelheim. To get there you need all four Muspelheim Cyphers. You can then head to Muspelheim and go into the arena there and interact with the giant fire sword in the middle to begin the Muspelheim Trials. Be prepared for a tough fight as it can get quite difficult and tricky.

Once you have successfully completed the Trials, you will receive two chests as a reward. You will find a lot of materials in the chests and one will also give you Crest of Surtr. I received Crests of Surtr, although how many you receive may depend on how well you do in the Trials. I managed gold at the Trials, which is why I received three Crests. I’m not sure if there’s a connection, but it’s something to keep in mind. Now you can go to the nearest shop/dealer.

Once you’re at the shop, you’ll be able to purchase the Meteoric Slam and Breath of Thamur Heavy Runic Attacks. You also need other materials for this, such as Smoldering Ember, Crest of Flame, and so on, but you can also get them in Muspelheim. Each of the Runic Attacks requires a Crest of Surtr. Both attacks are great and look incredibly cool, but the most important thing is that they can deal massive damage. So they are worth the effort. Meteor Slam is for the Blades of Chaos and summons several flaming rocks to fall on the enemies. Breath of Thamur is for the Leviathan Ax and is a big AOE attack with cold winds. Interestingly, this attack doesn’t deal Frost damage until you upgrade it, but it’s still great.
