Samsung Odyssey OLED G9: release, pre-order and price?

When will the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 be released? Samsung’s new high-end monitor currently has no official release date. Insiders are currently assuming that the OLED G9 will appear very soon – this summer. The months of July and August are considered hot candidates, a release in June is rather unlikely.

Double WQHD, high refresh rate and only 0.03 ms response time – the best gaming monitor 2023?

Where can I pre-order the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 and how much does it cost? Nevertheless, you can already pre-order the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 – from the large hardware dealer Cyberport! Delivery will take place as soon as the monitor has been released. It currently costs 2236€ – and is therefore only a few euros more expensive than that Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 on its release. This is a bit surprising, since OLED monitors are currently still significantly more expensive than their “non-OLED” counterparts.

Samsung Odyssey OLED G9: It will be that good – and the alternative

What exactly can the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 do now? First of all, of course, there would be the OLED panel in connection with this enormous size of 49 inches (124 centimeters) with a 32:9 aspect ratio. There’s one for that Resolution of 5,120 x 1,440 pixels – i.e. double WQHD or also called super-ultrawide.

The halo ring on the back rounds off the modern and simple design – not only beautiful to look at in the front, but also in the back.

The OLED panel is not just OLED, but QD-OLED, which means that the luminosity is increased again and brightness – an “Achilles heel” of OLED – increased. At the same time, you can still look forward to rich black and crisp contrasts.

Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 Specifications:

  • resolution: 5120×1440 pixels
  • Size: 49 inches / 32:9
  • panel: 240Hz QD OLED
  • reaction time: 0.03ms
  • curvature: 1800r

The Samsung Odyssey OLED really heralds the next generation of gaming – more immersion with better colors is not possible.
