Developer LocaGames announced a new visual novel Yukar of the Abyss arrives on Nintendo Switch in December 2023. The Nintendo Switch version arrives just a few months after the iOS and PC (Steam) release last August.
Yukar of the Abyss has undergone many changes and improvements in development following the launch of Steam Early Access in November 2022. The visual novel was released on August 22 for iOS and PC via Steam. Soon, Nintendo Switch users around the world will be able to experience the newly improved VN for themselves.

The next Nintendo Switch version of Yukar of the Abyss will include content from the August release. This content includes new CGs to collect in the newly added routes of Pewrep and Huaisu and some changes and additions to the previously released routes of Kyril and Moshirechik. Additionally, the game includes improved backgrounds and controller support.

Story Synopsis
Tired and disillusioned with her busy life in Tokyo, Kurumi Oki decides to slow down and move to Hokkaido for a fresh start.
One evening, while returning home by train after meeting her friends, she dozes off and realizes that she missed her stop.
Panicked, she gets off the train and finds herself at an unknown station called Kamuy Mosir.
Looking for help, she walks towards some nearby lights, where she sees a group of people dressed in unfamiliar costumes partying.
Without warning, she is chased by the group and captured by a young man. Her captor tells her that she is dead and he will take her to the underworld, the land of the dead.
Always pursued by other mysterious beings, Kurumi unexpectedly opens the door to the world of the Gods, where she must overcome fierce trials, explore the mysterious new world and perhaps even discover what happens to forbidden love with the Gods.
