Genshin Impact: Sigewinne ability kit leaked


With the latest Genshin Impact update, the Traveler and Paimon were heading to Fontaine, the Hydro region. Besides the Archon, Lady Furina herself, we’ve already met a bunch of other characters who will soon be playable! One of them is particularly interesting, since it will be our first Melusine unit: Sigewinne! Let’s take a look at what this little nurse has in store for us!

Melusines are a entirely new species within Genshin Impact, which were added not too long ago with the very first version of Fontaine. Throughout the history of the Hydro region, we will find a gang of these little ladies running around the city or encounter them in their own little underground village.

One of them, which arouses the most interest within the community, is the gypsies, the head nurse of the Meropide Fortress infirmary. In terms of looks, she definitely gets a 10/10 on the cuteness scale, but since her adorable looks alone won’t kill any enemies, you can also check out her kit here!

As I already mentioned, regarding the main story of Fontaine, Sigewinne is a nurse and what role would suit her better than that of support! Oddly enough, this would make her the fifth unit with the smallest body type to be a healer. The only exceptions to this rule are Nahida and Klee, who are also very small but as far away from a healer/buffer as they could be.

Genshin Impact: overview of Sigewinne’s abilities

Sigewinne – Autoattack: Tide Accuracy

  • Sigewinne makes up to three consecutive shots with her bow.
  • Performs a more accurate aimed shot with increased DMG.
  • Fires a shower of arrows into the air before falling and hitting the ground, dealing AoE DMG on impact.

Sigewinne – Elemental Skill: Maritime Sedation

  • Sigewinne uses it Dart gun granting the status to all characters close to your party. This state has different effects when pressed or held:

    → Press: Fires a , dealing AoE Hydro DMG to enemies it comes into contact with.

    → Maintain: Enters aim mode and locks on to an enemy. During this time, Sigewinne’s resistance to interruption is increased and so is her charge. Dart gun up to three Flurry levels.

  • Characters in this state will benefit from the following effects depending on the hydro-elemental reaction they created during said state:
Reaction (hydro-based) Effect
Freeze Increases freeze duration by a certain amount.
Electro-charged Increases EM by a certain amount.
Spray Spray DMG is increased by a certain amount.
Bloom Increases EM by a certain amount.
Hydroelectric whirlpool Increases EM by a certain amount.

These effects can be increased by the number of the opponents you hit with your Dart Gun!

Sigewinne – Elemental Burst: awkward bump

  • Sigewinne drops her medicine, dealing AoE Hydro DMG on appearance and creating the following properties:

    → Applies wet state to opponents, who was hit by the initial AoE.
    → Characters inside restore a certain amount of HP based on Sigewinne’s maximum HP. Non-active units will do the same with an amount less than the active one.

  • It is important to note that the more enemies you hit with AoE, the shorter the interval between healing instances will be.
  • Besides that, there can be two fields at the same time, which will give you three changes of .

    → will be triggered if two fields created by Sigewinne itself already exist. This allows Sigewinne to jump between the two fields, consuming a charge of and dealing huge AoE Hydro DMG hopping and jumping. This also heals other nearby characters.

Sigewinne’s Burst seems quite interesting to me, especially with the movement mechanics. It’s hard to say how difficult it will be to trigger all three charges of Tender Leap, and we’ll have to wait until we finally get to play it alone! Aside from that, it looks like Sigewinne will be a super strong healer, buffer, and Hydro candidate for your team, and you should definitely keep an eye on her release if you need a new healer!

And that’s basically everything there is to know about the cutest Mélusine Sigewinne! After reading her kit, the decision of whether I wanted to shoot for her or not was pretty simple: YES, obviously! It is absolutely a must-have in my range!

Genshin Impact is banned in Belgium due to loot boxes … but only in the PS4 version


Following the heated debate on loot boxes and microtransactions present in video games aimed at young audiences, some politicians have decided to intervene and implement new rules on the management of g******g, also including these notorious prize boxes.

The state that most of all has trodden the situation is certainly the Belgium: thanks to the new laws active for a few months, loot boxes are now considered to all intents and purposes g******g and, as such, illegal in products intended for a minor public. If the developers or the managers of a video game cannot remove these mechanics from their products, Belgium does not allow the diffusion of this title, effectively banning it from the whole territory.

The latest “victim” of this legislation is Genshin Impact, free to play Chinese that is conquering the whole world. As a free-to-play title, loot boxes and microtransactions are the only source of sustenance for this acclaimed RPG game, but the law does not allow for exceptions, and since the “luck” mechanics cannot be removed, Genshin Impact was officially banned from Belgium … but also not.

The title in Belgium is not downloadable on PlayStation 4 but, inexplicably, it is still present in the local stores of Android is PC, without any restrictions. Indeed, marketing campaigns and advertising continue to persist.

In other words, only PS4 players have had to say goodbye to Genshin Impact, but everyone else can continue to play (and spend) without a problem. To be honest, this is not so true either, as it is enough to create a PSN account in another region and this “block” would also be solved.

We do not know if this forgetfulness is a delay in the execution of the law, an error, or there is a legal loop involved that keeps the mobile and PC versions in stall, but it all seems decidedly … paradoxical.

Belgium has successfully eliminated microtransactions and loot boxes from games such as FIFA, big money factories for EA, but it seems that the law and its applications are still very immature.

Genshin Impact players can’t take it anymore and start an attack on developers with a ‘review bombing’ that also affects Honkai: Star Rail


It has had undeniable success in terms of downloads, income or ratings. However, Genshin Impact has always lived in tension. Since the game’s release, player criticism has been constant. A situation that has only worsened with the passage of time. The community accuses the developers of not responding to their requests or suggestions, refusing to accept errors or introduce improvements that have been requested for years. It is a controversy that has broken out on numerous occasions, leading to a ‘review bombing’ in the context of its first anniversary. Now we are approaching the third birthday and history seems about to repeat itselfalthough this time it includes an unexpected script twist.

Genshin Impact players attack HoYoverse

The controversy began because of the leaks. Early information on the third anniversary of Genshin Impact aim for disappointing rewards and points out that part of the content introduced by HoYoverse for this special date consists of a paid pack with uninteresting items. However, we cannot take full responsibility for this ‘leak’. All the community needed was the spark to ignite a full can of gasoline. The anger of the players has intensified over the last few months. They accuse the developers of not treating the game with the care it deserves, ensuring that the company treats its titles in the Honkai saga favorably.

The most obvious symptom of this situation is that It’s not just Genshin Impact that’s receiving negative reviews.. A good part of the users who want to participate in this ‘review bombing’ are attacking Honkai: Star Rail. If we see the most recent reviews in the Android store we can realize: “The company forgets about its other games”, “improve Genshin Impact” or “they want to remove last year’s free rewards for a paid package, what a scoundrel Give Genshin some more love, stingers.” These are just some of the criticism that the latest new HoYoverse game has received since September 5when the protests intensified.

The criticism comes on the heels of Genshin Impact receiving one of the biggest updates in its history, including a new zone and underwater exploration mechanics.

The reason players have brought their complaints to Honkai: Star Rail is that they consider that they receive a favorable treatment. It includes many quality of life improvements compared to Genshin Impact that players have been asking for years for the Teyvat-set title, offers more rewards to users, and responds more quickly and effectively to community feedback. A hateful comparison that does not take into account that the developers, although they are part of the same company, are independent teams. However, this situation together with controversial statements by the CEO of HoYoverse have given rise to the narrative of “there is a game that matters and another that does not”.

It is advisable to be prudent. Genshin Impact’s anniversary event has yet to be officially revealed and expectations are pretty high for Update 4.1 which will be presented in just a week. Despite everything, it is true that the title is going through one of the biggest crises in its history. The interest of the players is low and the income of the last ‘banners’ has been the lowest in the last year and a half. All this, just after the arrival of what has been the most important expansion in the last year. It seems clear that the game does need a change of course.

Genshin Impact: Fan compiles artwork and NSFW ranking of most popular characters


“I was bored,” the Genshin Impact fan opens his post on Reddit. He must have been pretty bored, because the result of his boredom is a large ranking of Genshin Impact characters based on fan artwork and NSFW artwork.

The calculation is simple: the more artwork dedicated to a character, the more popular he is of course. And the more NSFW artwork a character gets, well, the more… popular they are.

The basis for his research was Pixiv, an online community for artists who can upload illustrations, manga and artwork there. Ganyu has by far the most artwork. It also tops the NSFW category by a wide margin.

By the way, the most popular male character is Zhongli in 8th place. Although, you can’t say with certainty whether the most drawn characters are actually the most popular. Many are also likely to be chosen for artwork simply based on their appearance. But it is certainly a yardstick. You can find the ranking here on Reddit.

A few days ago miHoYo opened the official Genshin Wiki. There is probably only official artwork there. The wiki is one of miHoYo’s efforts to compensate Genshin Impact fans a little for the delay of version 2.7. Various in-game rewards are also a part of it.

Just a few days ago, the news caused a stir that the Nintendo Switch version was still in development. Most fans have probably already written them off.

But even without a Switch version, Genshin Impact is still very popular. In Japan, content from the PS4 version was among the most shared content in the PlayStation universe in 2021.

Genshin Impact and the most common error codes: here’s how to fix them

Genhsin Impact is the title of the moment and to be able to play it you need an internet connection which is also used to redeem the daily prizes and access the online store. Therefore, server-related problems need to be resolved. There are three specific errors that can appear in the PC, PS4, iOS and Android versions of Genshin Impact and below you can take a look at the solutions.

Error Codes 4206 and 4201: These are two common error codes and appear when the user connection is having some problem. The quickest way to check for this error is to make sure you are fully connected to a stable and private internet connection. In some cases, however, the game servers may be completely down. In this case you can try to restart the device, restart the router and / or modem and always look for a wired connection before connecting via Wi-Fi. If this is not enough, some users suggest changing the server country: in many cases the error disappears.

Error Code 9908: the cause of this code is not known at the moment, but the development studio says that it should be enough to restart the game to fix it. If the error continues unfortunately the only advice is to delete and reinstall the game from scratch.

Although these errors appear on all platforms, the platform where they often happen is the PC. Playing on mobile devices can also cause these problems, as the mobile phone may disconnect from WiFi for no reason. In any case, the development studio has several updates in the pipeline so probably in the future the servers will be much more stable.
