[HOT] : How to activate Arachnophobia Mode in Satisfactory

Being afraid of spiders can sometimes be crippling in the video game world, but in Satisfactory you can replace spiders with cats thanks to the Arachnophobia mode!

Being arachnophobic isn’t easy every day. But Coffee Stain Studios has got you covered in Satisfactory, adding a mode Arachnophobie, which allows you to replace all the spiders in the game with cats.

Rest assured, whether you use Arachnophobia mode or not, spiders are not everywhere. You are just not recommended to go for a walk in the jungle or in the caves at night if you forgot to tick the magic box! We can thank the game developers who, being himself arachnophobic, decided to incorporate this feature allowing to replace spiders with cat sprites.

Activate Arachnophobia Mode

If you’ve ever changed your game language, you’ve probably missed out on the saving option. Nothing could be easier than activating it!
On the main menu of the game, you just have to go to the Options, then in the tab Playability. The Arachnophobia Mode then appears under the choice of the language of the game. Activate it, and enjoy the game without fear of the mischievous with many legs!

The buggy cat

If you have met any, you may have noticed that cats seem… bugged. This is perfectly normal: only the spider sprite (the image) has been replaced by a cat sprite. So you will have surfing cats which slide in a perfectly strange way on the ground, and which will attack you without respite! Never forget your Taser which will be very useful to you to get rid of these pseudos-demonic creatures!

Satisfactory: an “arachnophobic” mode that turns spiders into cute little cats

Arachnophobic friends, rejoice! The developers of the promising Satisfactory have thought of you! To prevent you from having a heart attack against the 8-legged monsters, a mode will allow you to transform them, in a way that could not be more cute!

Our “friends” the spiders are legion in video games and Satisfactory is no exception. As you try to build a functioning production line, these charming 8-legged creatures will come and try to put a damper on you and halt your business.

However, the developers of Satisfactory have thought of you arachnophobes! If you are tired of seeing spiders in every RPG you play and in every cave you explore in search of treasure, a very well thought out “arachnophobic” mode has been incorporated into the game.

Indeed, by checking this option in the menus, you will replace all the spiders with images of cute cats! The initiative comes from the presence of an arachnophobic person in the studio in charge of the development of the game who was tired of jumping at each playtest!

As a reminder, Satisfactory was presented at E3 2018 and is currently available for early access on the Epic Games store!

Do you hate spiders? Coffee Stain Studios has got you covered and allows you to replace spiders with other equally terrifying creatures in Satisfactory.

During your explorations in Satisfactory, sometimes you will come face to face with hostile creatures. A good shot of taser and this meeting will be forgotten. But at night in the caves and the jungle it is possible to be confronted with spiders. Much more of a problem if you’re phobic or just hate the sight of those furry creatures with way too many legs.

Fortunately, one of the game developers is like you and hates spiders. He therefore provided a solution for replace spider sprites with … cats! Okay, they’re glitchy cats that run terrifyingly at you and wish you dead, but at least they’re not spiders anymore.

It’s scary, but not in the same way

To activate this mode, all you have to do is go to the Game options. In the Gameplay tab, you must check the box Mode Arachnophobie. The spider sprites will then be replaced by those of the glitchy cats, and you can explore without fear. Be careful, this does not mean that they will become friendly.

[HOT] : Satisfactory Guide: How to Set Up Multiplayer

Satisfactory It is about automating machines to create massive and very complex production lines. While any challenge he throws at you can be taken on completely solo, things get a lot more fun when you add more players to the mix.

Fortunately, there is a co-op mode that lets you play Satisfactory with other people online, with no hard limit on how many players you can invite (the game officially supports up to four). This includes cross-platform multiplayer on Steam and Epic Games.

In this guide we will show you how to configure multiplayer in Satisfactory and start building with your friends online.

How to set up Satisfactory multiplayer

The method of setting up multiplayer varies depending on whether you are the host player or joining someone else’s session.

Before you decide, remember that any progress you make during a multiplayer session is tied to the host player’s save file. Additionally, while Satisfactory doesn’t offer PvP, there is still friendly fire.

    How to organize a session

To host a session, first upload to your saved game, then open the menu and select “Manage Session”. Here you can change the session type to “Friends only” to allow your friends to join. If you set the session to “Private”, only people you invite can join it.

To send an invitation, select “Copy to Clipboad” to copy the session ID and send it to whoever you want to join. Note that Satisfactory does not currently support public sessions, and since the game is still in Early Access, you may experience bugs and performance issues during online multiplayer.

How to join a Satisfactory session

To join another player’s session, you will need to either have them added as a friend on Steam or Epic Games, or obtain their session ID. If the session is set to “Friends only”, you can join it by selecting the session from the main menu.

If the session is set to “Private,” your only option is to start the game and manually enter the session ID from the main menu. Note that to enable cross-play, Steam users will need to connect their Steam account to their Epic Games account when presented with a prompt.

Set up multiplayer with more than four players

If you want to team up with more than four players in a single session, you will need to change the Satisfactory configuration settings.

The host drive should navigate to the following file directory:

    %localappdata%FactoryGameSavedConfigWindowsNoEditorGame.ini

From there, add the following lines to the end of the .ini file:

    MaxPlayers=X

Once done, launch the game and start a new session. Anyone on your Friends List or with the Session ID should be able to participate.

How to play satisfying multiplayer between Epic Games Store and Steam

Satisfying, the factory simulator that challenges you to create intricate arrays of machines released on Steam today * i, and the good news is that it supports cross-platform play between Steam and the Epic Games Store. This means that new players on Steam can enjoy the game with friends who have already played on the EGS.

The easiest way to play with your friends is to use a hosted session that they can join using the session ID. Multiplayer in Satisfactory is peer to peer, hosted by one of the players in the group. If there are more than two players in the party, choose the player who is closest to everyone.

They can host your own game by changing the settings when you load into your saved game. Open the menu and click on Manage session. Change the session type to friends only to allow your friends to join. If the game is set to Private, people can only join if you send them an invite. Press the “Copy to clipboard” button to copy the session ID, and then you can send it to the person you want to play with.

The game currently has no plan for public sessions, in order to avoid any possible issues. It’s also worth noting that multiplayer isn’t exactly stable at the moment, as the game is still in Early Access, and bugs and performance issues are quite common. Add the fact that cross-platform play can be a bit uncertain, again because the game is in beta, and you might run into some issues.

If that happens, it will have to be accepted as a risk to play early access titles, although we’re sure the developers would appreciate any bug reports you might submit.
