DjMaRiiO and several other streamers take advantage of a bug and remove Messi TOTY in FC 24

As Willyrex once said, take advantage of the bug. This is what many EA Sports FC 24 content creators have done to get none other than Messi TOTY, one of the most coveted cards in the game, and who knows if it will be the last of the Argentine star within EA’s soccer simulator.

How did they get it? EA had a bug in one of its last SBCs, specifically in “Choice of player 1 of 3 TOTY Leagues” in which a squad with an average of 85 and a player who exceeded an average of 87 was requested. Without a doubt it is an SBC that many users would do, and when the run run began that the brand new Ballon d’Or was starting to come out, EA quickly turned off the tap and disabled this Template Building Challenge to fix this problem.

DjMaRiiO, one of the great lucky ones

Logically, the lucky ones did not hesitate to share their screen with these Messi TOTY, like the case of DjMaRiiO, He was one of the lucky ones, although he “only” got one of his two accounts. On his channel he published a survey to see how many he had gotten Messi, and more than 23% of its users achieved it. A large percentage, taking into account that there were also 40% of people did not do it.

On the other side of the coin, in which we also include ourselves, others like Baptistao or Pablo Albarracín managed to make them, but fortune gave them three golden players. As far as Messi is concernedthe value of the Argentine TOTY continues to rise by leaps and bounds, despite the fact that these letters that have been touched by the Inter Miami player are non-transferable letters. At the moment EA continues to fix this SBC that has given joy to more than one FC 24 player.

Rebel South Korean streamers: a bold farewell to Twitch…

Twitch is shutting down in South Korea, which means many streamers will have to move to another streaming service if they want to continue doing what they love. In protest, some streamers went further, because what is Twitch going to do, eh?

Twitch is closing its doors in South Korea, which means several streamers will have to find a new home for their content. In protest and as a big “FU” to Twitch, a group of streamers decided to spice things up for their last day on the platform.

In December 2024, Twitch CEO Dan Clancy explained that operating costs in South Korea were far too high and therefore the Korean branch would be closed on February 27. So, as this final day approaches, streamers have been getting creative.

The most famous streamers banned on Twitch

With many streamers having to find either a new job or a new home for their content, many have taken advantage of the latest opportunity to post unique content that might not fit 100% with Twitch’s content guidelines.

A streamer, Daeyong2, has decided to broadcast adult games on his channel. Of course, he didn’t show everything, trying to keep some of the nudity under control with a black bar to prohibit the broadcast of the most obscene images. But on a normal day, this would have resulted in the streamer being banned immediately.

Likewise, other streamers also tried something riskier than usual. For example, Irin-Chan went live in a pretty revealing outfit, much to the surprise of her viewers.

It seems that with Twitch shutting down, these streamers have nothing to lose, which is why they went to such lengths to protest Twitch shutting down.

On Reddit, others agreed, with one commenter writing “” and another saying “.”

Twitch may be shutting down in South Korea, but the company was just fined $300,000 for violating South Korean telecommunications law by removing VODs from the platform in the country. It looks like there might be more fines in the future for Twitch because of this, so we’ll have to wait and see if anything else pops up soon.

[HOT] : Leak Twitch: the leak reveals a list of streamers with certain privileges …

Everyone is probably not housed in the same boat on Twitch . It won’t be a big surprise for some regulars but some streamers could well benefit from a special status …

Thus, creators of content seem exempt from sanctions if they do not respect the conditions of use of the service.

Twitch and equality are two

No need to lie, some hugely influential streamers are almost untouchable on Twitch. If well-known creators such as Alinity, Amouranth or even djWHEAT have violated the platform’s regulations on several occasions, the sanctions taken against them have always been derisory or even non-existent. For example, the second on our little list was only banned for a handful of days for posting suggestive content on her channel.

These facts could suggest that streamers enjoy a privileged status compared to ordinary people. Such allegations have never been confirmed by Twitch but they are verified today * i. Indeed, following the hack of the service and the leak of 125 GB of data on 4chan, a list of streamers visibly “protected” by the site owned by Amazon has been unveiled.

A pass despite the faults

It is the streamer Asmongold who communicated this famous list containing the name of creators. The platform would stipulate that the main stakeholders should not be banned for any reason. We find there users like Ricegum, Loltyler1 or djWHEAT. For example, the latter is used to broadcasting content in the company of his minor son (which is normally prohibited). After several reports, Twitch asked its teams not to apply sanctions against it if this reason is reported by spectators.

And of course, the names on this list have one thing in common… They generate a lot of traffic (and therefore revenue) on Twitch. Thus, the “small” and “large” streamers are clearly not on an equal footing. Finally, specific members of the Twitch teams would be the only ones empowered to take action against these creators (if necessary). What to start a new controversy after the publication of the salaries of the richest streamers in the world.
