I never imagined that something so basic and simple could have such “good” results in League of Legends, but it seems to be working. Surely, the more players notice the , the less useful it is. Meanwhile, some users are taking advantage of one of the biggest nonsense that the MOBA has given throughout its existence: a Malphite animation. At least if it’s real and/or legal.

If you check various social networks, with TikTok being its main bastion, you can see that there are dozens of videos with hundreds and thousands of views under the protection of a very specific label: Malphite Fake Death. The bad thing is that we are not sure how it works, because when trying to recreate it, we have not succeeded. This makes us think that it could be a a or a .

I have tried to recreate it in the practice tool and I have not found how to do it

Thus, what could be one of the most unique videos of recent times regarding League of Legends, also could be one of the most annoying we’ve seen in years. And, like dozens of other users who are wondering, I don’t know how it is doing this.

After spending no less than 15 minutes in Riot Games’ practice tool, I’ve tried dozens of key combinations. I have also reviewed all the animations that Malphite has available, but I have been unable to recreate what happens in these videos. This makes me suspicious of its credibility and legality.

Of course, it could be that I have no idea and that I simply haven’t found the sequence and/or have skipped the key I need to use. Or maybe It is only activated in certain circumstances. Be that as it may, I have not been able to arrive at the correct answer.

Whatever the answer, there is a catch.

All this makes me suspect that it is not something legal, since animation as such is also very rare. When we see any of the videos in which this “mechanics” is shown, Malphite automatically drops to the ground and assumes the same position he would have when dying..

When he does this, the rest of the players ignore him, so when he gets up and hits them, they are shocked. Bad jokes aside, it’s very, very strange. To begin with, why don’t we know how he does it. It is possible that he has made a pact with the others to ignore him and that he is using a device that alters one of Malphite’s animations.
