Jagged Alliance 3: Mercenary Relationships & Affinity Guide

All is fair in love and war when it comes to being hired as a mercenary in Jagged Alliance 3. But knowing who gets along and who doesn’t is important when choosing your team. With a limited budget to start with and four distinct rosters to choose from, with different skills and hiring prices, knowing who can work with each other will make your life a lot easier and work well for the money left in your wallet. . So this is Vincent’s guide to all mercenary relationships and affinities they have with each other in Jagged Alliance 3.

All Merc Relationships in Jagged Alliance 3

In Jagged Alliance 3, it’s important to look at who can and can’t work well together. If members of your team don’t get along, you’ll find that they’ll stop working together for the duration of their contract, have to be placed on another team, or demand a higher payment in order to compromise. In terms of statistics, a mercenary’s morale is affected by whether or not he likes his comrade. If they prefer to work with specific mercenaries, you will find that their morale increases by 1 point. However, if there is an aversion between the two mercenaries or on one side, the mercenary or mercenaries concerned will see their morale decrease by 1.

Every Merc in Jagged Alliance seems to have a set preference. However, this is only discovered by recruiting a variety of team compositions, as the game does not indicate during the recruiting process that the Merc has a preference for specific co-workers. Some Mercs are neutral in their likes and dislikes, often being able to work with the majority of others. But there are plenty of Mercs who have preferences that can have a massive impact on your game. Use the table below to recruit your mercenaries based on their relationships.

Best Jagged Alliance 3 Weapons – Tier List

As you might have already guessed for this strategy game, Jagged Alliance is about the tactics and moves you make during combat. With a direct focus on mobility in the third installment of Jagged Alliance, players will want to base their team on the ability to move freely, position themselves, and take cover from danger. For this reason, you might be looking for an explosives expert or a clinical sniper to help you make those key decisions that can make or break your game. But in deciding which mercenaries to hire along your journey, you might consider their gear a critical part of your decision-making. But with the ability to change each Merc’s weapon on the team, here’s Vincent’s guide to the best weapons to use in Jagged Alliance 3.

Jagged Alliance 3 Weapon Tier List

While we can identify the best weapons to use in Jagged Alliance 3, you also need to know the best weapons to use for each Merc. For example, if you have a sniper rifle that requires precision and is more luck-based in its accuracy, you’ll preferably want a sniper specialized mercenary or sniper like its class, like Buns, Onryn, Raven, Blood, to name a few. While you have other classes and specific mercenaries that strive for mobility and stealth, such as Fox and Blood, who may be better off using a melee weapon or close range firearms such as shotguns. Choosing weapons isn’t just about their stats and combat effectiveness, and while that’s hugely important as there’s a stark difference between weapons and their strength, you’ll find that the best weapons work best for specific mercenaries based on their perks.

Keep an eye on which perk is best for certain weapons. For example, you might want to place something as powerful as The Thing on a Merc with the Full Body Contact or Vanguard Perk. While sniper rifles such as the Draganov or an upgraded Winchester mods must be paired with perks such as Sharpshooter or Deadeye. With all that in mind, here is the weapon tier list from SamaGame.com for Jagged Alliance 3. All weapons listed below should not be used with their default appearance and stats, instead you will need to edit them under your squad in satellite view. From here you can directly access each mercenary’s equipment and select their weapon to then modify it with attachments where parts are needed to make the appropriate modifications to increase the weapon’s overall effectiveness in combat.

Should you kill Dr. Kronenberg in Jagged Alliance 3? – How to cure red rage

The Sanatorium houses a different type of video game within its walls. The Doctor prepares for all kinds of mischief as he tries to solve the cause and undo the effects of the Curse of Red Rage that seems to be sweeping the area and turning everyone into zombies. In the midst of a war against humanity and against all odds, a new virus has taken hold of the island housing the Sanatorium. As hope dwindles to prayers and a baseless evacuation, Dr. Kronenberg stays behind to conduct his gruesome experiments and come to every conclusion he can to find the cure for this endemic disease. But upon entering the walls of the Sanatorium, your team has their arms twisted and their lives are placed on a timer to find the cure for Red Rage. Whether or not you want to do it is up to you, but it’s up to Vincent guide on the best course of action against the doctor herself. Do you kill the Doctor or try to find the cure in Jagged Alliance 3?

How to Find the Red Rage Cure in Jagged Alliance 3

The Sanitarium Doctor has an incredibly important task for players to complete: find the cure for Red Rage. With a total of 6 samples to collect (depending on difficulty), you may find the 10 day timer to be a little overwhelming as your search could lead you to a wild goose chase through the Big Dog. For this reason, we actually recommend postponing your Sanatorium visit so that the quest doesn’t start before you want it to. This will give you endless time to explore the island on which Sanatorium resides where the samples you need to collect could be found before the quest even begins.

You can also use this time to fight and defeat all enemies across the island so that when it’s time to search for the samples, you can find them easily instead of rushing around and trying to clear areas on a timer. Want to make sure you don’t skip this quest if you’ve already started it, it’s key to getting a better ending in Jagged Alliance and while the doctor will be staying in the sanitarium waiting for you and the samples , the time to complete the quest will be long gone and the cure is nowhere to be found.

Where to find Red Rage Samples

Depending on the difficulty you are on will determine the amount of samples you need to collect to complete the quest. However, this guide will describe each step you need to follow as well as the location of each sample. With each sample, we strongly recommend that you use multiple squads and send them to the correct areas (after clearing the affected areas before starting the quest), or choose to use only one squad with a Merc who has a high medical education (80+ ). However, all squads must have high medical skills, so they can easily find the samples. Some sectors require different skills such as explosives or force, so be aware of that before heading into any of the areas listed below.

  • twin mansions (L18) – solve the murder / persuade Dr. L’Enger or use the Trait Loner to get the sample.
  • Chalet of Peace (F13) – Find Wilcox’s room inside the camp and talk to Xavier at the docks. Head to the bar which will lead you to Wanda. All of this will take you straight to the west side of the forest where there are 3 statues and the quest log. Go back to Wanda, talk to Hog Lady to find the last page of the diary. Return to the Doctor’s Chalet de la Paix where a battle will ensue. After defeating the enemies, you can find the sample on Wilcox’s body.
  • swamps (H16) – Open the box using a Merc with high mechanical skill. this area is home to hyenas and crocodiles which you will have to deal with if you go here during the quest, instead of clearing the area first.
  • Graveyard (J11) – Located at the altar, inside the buckets.
  • Hamlet of Grimmer (I19) – There are zombies and civilians in this area, you need to sweep the area with a Merc which has high strength. Each door can house zombies or civilians inside, so use cover so you don’t needlessly kill innocent people. The blood sample is obtained by completing the quests provided by the drunken man located at the campfire.
  • factory ruins (K14) – In this minefield, use a Merc that has a high explosives skill to defuse the set traps. The area is zombie infested with looters (if you visit here during the quest and haven’t cleaned up first). You will find the sample inside the small building and on the upper floor where a corpse needs to be inspected.

Although it is suggested to bring 4 out of 6 samples, we strongly recommend that you find all the samples to ensure the quest is completed.

Cure the doctor or let the plague run wild – that is the overriding question of JA3

Choosing to save the Doctor by completing his difficult task of finding all of the Red Rabies samples will give you a total of 10 game days to complete the quest. It might seem like a simple task in that the timer seems long, but by completing other quests and errands, and putting The Outbreak Quest in the background, you might run out of time quickly.

We highly recommend leaving the Doctor alive and starting The Outbreak quest when you have the time and can’t afford to let the 10 day timer pass. As suggested in the guide above to complete this quest you must try to clear the steps before engaging the doctor inside the sanitarium so you can go around the island once again and easily collect samples.

The reason why it is extremely important to complete The Outbreak questalthough this may seem inconsequential and irrelevant to the narrative of Jagged Alliance 3, is that he really contributes to the story. By eradicating red rage you will get a better endgame. For this reason, you must allow the Doctor to continue her experimentation where, in return, you will collect all the samples she needs to stop everything.

Regardless of what you decide, the doctor dies of red rage disease anyway. For this reason, you can also complete the quest to get the best ending in Jagged Alliance 3.

Equip Skull and Bones Honor of the Heralds: Delicate Alliance

In the new Skull & Bones you receive the quest “Delicate Alliance” within the first few hours of play. The first task in the quest is to raise the company’s flag and equip the so-called “Honor of the Heralds”. In this context, one or two players of Ubisoft’s new pirate adventure may ask themselves the same question that we asked ourselves here and that is – how can you equip the Honor of the Heralds and where do you get the company’s flag? Since this step is unfortunately not explained very well and you can’t see the forest for the trees, we’ll show you in this guide what you have to do in the “Delicate Alliance” quest.

Equip Honor of the Heralds

To equip the Honor of the Heralds, you must first go to the ship and board it. You then select “Manage Ship” in the menu and can then select and equip the Honor of the Heralds using “Ship Beautification” and “Sails”. The Honor of the Heralds is a sail from the “Company” enhancement set, which is automatically unlocked as part of the quest. With the sail equipped, the “Delicate Alliance” quest should also update. The next mission is to plunder a Fara settlement for Scurlock.

The Fara settlement you are looking for is located to the west of Red Island, southwest of Sora Hill. Anyone who has already unlocked the fast travel point at the royal resting place outpost can travel there directly and then loot the Fara settlement. To loot, you drive up to the settlement, hold down the loot button and then kill all the ships and destructible buildings in the settlement in the area shown. After you have successfully looted the settlement, you go back to Scurlock, where you can then complete the delicate alliance quest.

Jagged Alliance 3 Walkthrough – Guide and Tips for the Game

Jagged Alliance 3 is the sequel to the popular turn-based strategy game where players recruit fighters to complete various tasks. In this guide, we will describe a detailed walkthrough of the game and give useful tips that will help you make money quickly and heal wounded soldiers more efficiently.

Tips for playing Jagged Alliance 3

In Jagged Alliance 3 you will encounter many different game mechanics that may not be obvious to beginners. Below we have put together the most important tips to help gamers in difficult situations.

Which mercenaries you should choose to start with

Recently we have already described the best mercenaries to get started in Jagged Alliance 3, but you can experiment and even create your own fighter. When choosing soldiers, we recommend paying attention to agility, agility and accuracy. We also do not recommend dealing with expensive mercenaries – there is a lot of money at the beginning and such fighters do not have outstanding skills.

Here is a list of the best mercenaries:

Lisa. Be sure to take this medic with you to the squad. If it is not available initially, try launching the game again. Thanks to her talent, Liska gets 2 free shots at the start of the fight (best used as a sniper).

Barry. Another cool and economical fighter who can defuse mines, plant explosives and throw grenades far away. You can try giving Barry a shotgun – it will be even more effective.

Kalina. An excellent mechanic and part-time sniper. Initially equipped with a sniper rifle that you can give to Liska or use by its owner. However, if you decide to do this, you will have to constantly train the accuracy of this hero.

Mouse. He has completely useless talent, but excellent agility and agility. These features allow you to fire two shots in a row with a pistol or shotgun, knocking out two enemies in one round.

Wolf. Suitable as an alternative to the mouse or as a separate mercenary. The talent allows you to complete all operations (including reconnaissance) a third faster, also increases the damage taken by the squad by 10% and completes militia preparation and training a little faster.

How to heal wounded mercenaries in Jagged Alliance 3

In Jagged Alliance 3 you will encounter many enemies and will often be injured. To fully restore the health of the mercenaries, you need to take some actions. There are several ways to replenish fighters’ vitality.

How to heal wounded mercenaries in battle

After taking damage in battle, make sure the wounded mercenary or nearby heroes have medical supplies or a first aid kit. You can transfer them from your backpack or order another character to rewind a wound for a specific hero.

It is worth noting that the health level is only slightly restored and after that it is no longer possible to increase it in battle.

How to restore health outside of combat

Your squad must have a medic, otherwise it will take a long time to heal a fighter (wounds heal automatically if there are medicines in the squad’s possession). However, do not forget that each additional day costs a lot of money that the mercenaries charge for their work.

Go to the world map (satellite view) and click on “Operations” and then “Heal Wounds”. Choose a doctor and patient. A marker will appear on the timeline, upon reaching which the selected fighter’s vitality will be fully restored.

Where to find first aid kits and medicines

When exploring the location, be sure to pay attention to the different herbs. By collecting them, you can collect medicines that you need to create first aid kits and treat soldiers. Later you will meet liberated locals from whom you can purchase medicine for a fee.

How to make money quickly and conquer diamond mines in Jagged Alliance 3

Money is one of the most important resources in the game, because without it it is impossible to hire new fighters and continue contracts with existing ones. Below we have talked about all the ways to make money in Jagged Alliance 3.

Explore caches

Once you’re in a new location, be sure to inspect it using the tactical view (“O” key). In addition to individual markers, you can also find caches, backpacks, lockers and other objects for inspection in this mode.

Conquer diamond mines

The most effective way to make money is to conquer mines. They are marked on the world map with special symbols. This will give you a stable passive income, especially after increasing the loyalty of local residents in sectors near the mines. The higher the loyalty to your squad, the more money you will earn.

But conquering the mines is not enough. You will also have to train militiamen who will act as guards for your company, since sooner or later the enemies will try to take the mine away from you. Over time, the mines are completely exhausted. Therefore, we advise you not to stop there and conquer new mines.

Bandits can also transport diamonds from one field to another. If you notice the movement, it’s worth attacking and intercepting the good thing.

Get information and use stealth

Before capturing outposts, it is important to gather information about the area you want to go to by scouting it first. This saves you some time in the operation, but helps significantly in pinpointing the exact location of your enemies. This way you will be better prepared for battle.

Mercenaries with high agility and agility are often equipped with optimal positioning via stealth mode to avoid immediate detection. It also allows…
