The Treasury will look closely at Wallapop or eBay sales. The new DAC7 Directive comes into force in January

As of January 1, 2024, the new European DAC7 Directive (Directive 2021/514), relating to administrative cooperation in the field of taxation, will come into force. This obliges digital platforms to collect, verify, update and communicate data on the operations carried out by sellers on platforms such as eBay, Wallapop and even AirBNB: all those in which there is sale, rental of goods (personally or professional) or offering of services.

Online buying and selling and provision of services, under the spotlight. Starting in January 2023, both platforms and platform sellers have a legal obligation to report transaction data to tax authorities.

Whether or not they are residents of the EU, platforms must report the income earned by sellers. Among the activities subject to reporting, called by the directive as “relevant activities”, the following are included:

  1. The leasing of real estate, which includes real estate for residential use and commercial use and any other type of real estate, as well as parking spaces.
  2. Personal services.
  3. The sale of “goods”.
  4. The leasing of any means of transport.

The data to collect. The information communicated regarding sellers and service providers refers to their name and identification (company name, address, tax identification number and NIF/VAT number). In the event that the seller provides leasing services, data related to the physical address of the property and days of leasing must be provided. Data such as:

  • Bank details: account or card number linked to your account, and name of the owner if different.
  • Total money obtained each quarter.
  • Number of sales made each quarter.
  • Any fees, taxes or commissions withheld or collected.

The platforms explain the figures. Websites such as Wallapop or eBay carefully explain when our transactions will be reported to the relevant tax authorities. This data will be sent if:

  • We are residents in the EU
  • If in a calendar year the consideration you obtain for your sales is equal to or greater than 2,000 euros (after deducting fees, commissions or taxes) or if you make more than 30 sales, regardless of the amount.

In these scenarios, we will be notified through the application or email that it is necessary to fill out the legal information in our profile, and we will be required to fill it out within 60 calendar days. Otherwise, the platforms will block our account.

In the case of platforms like AirBNB, any host with a property located in one of the 27 EU member states will have their information shared through the platform (amounts earned by AirBNB per quarter, account identifier, number of days rented, etc.).

If hosts do not provide the information required to be reported to tax authorities, Airbnb will have to freeze payments. In some situations, Airbnb may block hosts’ calendars.

Tax obligations do not change. It is important to note that DAC7 does not change the tax obligations of sellers. The main change comes in that now, the platforms will be obliged to communicate our data.

It is a method of the EU to control all the information related to the transactions that it considers relevant. If the user does not want to provide this data, their account will be blocked.

Jump Force – Should I choose Team Alpha, Team Beta or Team Gamma?

Get ready to join a team in Jump Force! The ultimate Spike Chunsoft manga crossover is finally available, featuring anime superstars from across the venerable 50-year history of Shonen Jump. Early in the Jump Force story, you need to choose between the Alpha, Beta and Gamma teams to advance.

It is not immediately obvious what this means, and what impact it will have on the game going forward, so we decided to gather this information to help you choose.

Jump Force: Team Alpha, Team Beta or Team Gamma? First of all, it seems that this is an entirely cosmetic decision. So don’t be too concerned if you just want to choose the team with your favorite characters.

Team Alpha

The Alpha team is led by Goku, with Piccolo’s support – both from Dragon Ball (Z). The lead is ended by Naruto’s Gaara of the Sand and Roronoa Zoro, the pirate hunter who uses a triple One Piece sword.

Team Beta

The Beta team is a little more based on One Piece, led by Monkey D. Luffy with the help of Sanji and Boa Han___. The leadership of the team is ended by Boruto, son of Naruto and star of his own series.

Team Gamma

The Gamma team is Naruto’s team, who leads with his longtime mentor Kakashi and best friend / worst friend Sasuke Uchiha. The team is comprised of One Piece Sabo and the future version of Dragon Ball Z Trunks.

What does your team really change?

Since you’ve already created your personalized character and chosen your basic hand-to-hand fighting style, there’s nothing you can change here.

What your team choice affects, however, is your starting skills. Your Avatar will inherit the initial skills of the leaders of each team. For example, if you choose Team Alpha, you will receive Goku’s Kamehameha, Zoro’s 1080 Pound Ground, Gaara of the Sand’s Tsunami and Piccolo’s Light Grenade.

:: Fortnite – Dance with the Entubado, Scarecrow and Trunk Tent

However, immediately after choosing a team, you will be able to buy all the specials for all characters unlocked in the store.

Regardless of whether you choose Team Alpha, Beta or Gamma, Kamehameha and Rasengan are good because they have a good range and can be used at the end of Rush combos. Generally, the initial skill set you get is quite balanced – with a mix of different skills for different occasions.

How does your team affect the story?

Regardless of the chosen team, you can still interact with all members of the Jump Force catalog on a regular basis. You will go on missions with Naruto if you choose Team Alpha and save the world with Gaara if you’re on Team Gamma – so don’t worry if you don’t see your favorite characters again.

The overriding message here, then, is that you’re not stuck with anything too drastic with your team selection. You can choose tactically if you want the skill of a particular character, but you can always acquire it later.

Hogwarts Legacy: Force Animagus back into his human form

How do you force an Animagus back into human form in Hogwarts Legacy? This is a question that one or two players who are playing the new Harry Potter game and have already cleared one or two camps of opponents may have been thinking about in recent days. If you come across one or more magicians with an animagus in the enemy camps, then the probability is quite high that the task mentioned above will be displayed as a so-called duel achievement. Duel feats are optional tasks that can be completed during battles.

Force an Animagus back into human form

In Harry Potter, an animagus is a magical person who can transform into an animal. Even if you can’t become an Animagus yourself in Hogwarts Legacy, you will always meet another opponent in the game world and especially in the enemy camps who can transform into an animal. In the Duel feat, you now have to transform your opponent back into their human form and all you need is the “Transformation” spell. You learn the spell early in the game as part of Professor Weasley’s task.

Transformation (control)

Transforms objects and enemies into an alternative form, whether puzzle solutions or harmless knick-knacks.

All you have to do now is equip the “Transformation” spell, target the Animagus and use the spell. The Animagus then becomes a Poacher Animagus and you can defeat the wizard as normal.

Become an animagus?

As mentioned above, there is currently no option in Hogwarts Legacy that allows you to transform yourself into an animal. So you can’t become an Animagus yourself. Probably nothing will change in the future, but perhaps sooner or later a mod will appear that allows you to transform into an animal.

A mod for Hogwarts Legacy was recently released that allows you to ride a dragon.

The latest version of MIUI 14 brings a great novelty for Xiaomi: it allows you to force 120 Hz in all apps

It has now become a standard in the mobile industry that most mid-range and high-end smartphones have a t90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate on their screens, and even more, with the exception of some that strangely lag behind at 60 Hz. But sometimes, some applications do not exceed 60 Hz in their refresh rate, something that can be frustrating if your mobile has a screen more fluid.

Xiaomi will have a solution for this problem. In the most recent version of MIUI 14, the company’s custom layer based on Android, the system includes a new function that allows force the refresh rate to 120 Hz in any application, in order to guarantee the greatest fluidity and the best user experience.

120 Hz on the screen, even by force

Many Xiaomi phones allow you to select the refresh rate of their screens in the device configuration menu, being able to choose between 60 Hz, 90 Hz and 120 Hz on smartphones that have this feature in their technical sheet. But still, sometimes, some applications run at a maximum of 60 Hz, even when the smartphone screen has a faster refresh rate. This translates into less fluidity in the imageand in image flickers when there is a variation in the refresh rate between applications.

It is this problem that attacks the recent MIUI 14 update that is becoming available, first in China. The MIUI version in question is the V14.0.10.0.TLECNXM, as reported in GizmoChina. For now, the brand has only released it for the Xiaomi 12S Pro, and mentions the following in the changelog included in the version, as revealed by IT Home:

  • Update with Google security patches from August 2023, improves system security.
  • The mobile adds the function of customizing the screen refresh rate in specific applications.

According to images published by IT Home of the changes in the system, the mobile now allows you to select between a “standard” and a “high” refresh rate for force greater fluidity in own or third-party applications. In other words, if the Xiaomi mobile has a 120Hz screen, you can force those 120Hz in any application that, for some reason, does not exceed 60Hz. This can be configured from the MIUI settings menu.

This update still does not have a release date for the rest of the territories, but we hope to see it soon on all compatible Xiaomi, POCO or Redmi devices, while Xiaomi is working on what will be the launch of its next major operating system update, MIUI 15 .
