Find The Crew Motorfest Convention Center: Nihon No Kohai

Where is the convention center in the world for the new The Crew Motorfest? This is a question that one or two players from the new The Crew Motorfest who have already successfully completed the “Made in Japan” playlist and are currently in the process of mastering the challenges will be dealing with this question in the past few days. While most of the challenges in the new The Crew part are pretty self-explanatory and often completed quickly, there are now and then challenges where you have to search for something, such as the Nihon No Kohai challenge, where you have to reach the convention center with 200 km /h when driving freely at night.

Where is the convention center?

The convention center you are looking for is located in the south of the map, more precisely in Honolulu west of the “Motorfest” world with the Car Meet. All you have to do now is drive the Toyota Supra Ryujin Edition 2000 towards the convention center from any direction and reach at least 200 km/h. It’s best to take the jump ramp from the south and then drive through the congress center (there is also an AL test with a speed trap right next to the congress center, which is also shown on the map). Importantly, the challenge can only be completed at night. The challenge should then be displayed as completed and you can collect your reward in the challenges menu.

Unfortunately, you cannot change the time of day in The Crew Motorfest. There is currently no way to fast forward time in the game.

The Crew Motorfest Using consumables: Disassembling parts?

What do you need consumables for in The Crew Motorfest? How to use the consumables and get more of them? One or two players of the new The Crew may have been dealing with these questions in the past few days, having discovered the consumables either in a menu somewhere or in the shop where you can buy the consumables in various packages. We have created a short guide in this article to find out what it is all about and why you need it.

Consumables: Additions and set bonuses

Simply put, you need the consumables to further improve the vehicle and tuning parts and unlock additional benefits. If you select a vehicle part such as brakes, transmission or control unit, you can call up the “Additional” at the bottom right using the touchpad (PS5) or the view button (Xbox). The “additions” offer additional bonuses and to unlock them you need not only money but also consumables. You can also change the additions at any time or “recalibrate” them, as it is called in the game, and you will then have to pay for more bucks and consumables. You can also unlock the set bonus via the additions by selecting the appropriate additions.

Dismantle parts and get consumables

The consumables are mainly obtained by dismantling unlocked car and tuning parts that you no longer need. As the story progresses, you unlock improved tuning parts and can then dismantle the older and worse parts. Depending on the part, you will then receive x number of consumables.

  1. Open the vehicle menu via the profile and select the car.
  2. Under “Improve” you can now dismantle the individual tuning and vehicle parts by selecting the part and holding down the square button (PS5) or the X button (Xbox). Unfortunately, you can only disassemble one part at a time and not several parts at the same time.

Alternatively, as mentioned, you can also buy consumables in the in-game shop, but everyone has to know for themselves whether it’s really worth it.

Tip: This is how you get the legend points in The Crew Motorfest.

The Crew Motorfest: Waikiki Find Parking

Where is the WAIKIKI parking lot in the Crew Motorfest? How do you get from the WAIKIKI parking lot to Barbers Point Harbor in under 3 minutes? In the new The Crew Motorfest you can also find side activities and challenges under the individual playlists. Through the challenges you can not only collect experience points for leveling up, but also bucks for earning money. While many of the challenges are self-explanatory, there are also one or two challenges where you don’t immediately understand what needs to be done. Some people might feel the same way about the “Liberty Run” challenge from the “Liberty Walk: A Signature Edition” playlist.

Where is the WAIKIKI parking lot?

The description says “Drive from the WAIKIKI parking lot to Barbers Point Harbor in under 3 minutes. For the challenge you first have to zoom out completely on the map and zoom in to the “south” area. To the south is Honolulu and south of the city is the Waikiki Wing Hotel and in front of it is the Waikiki parking lot you are looking for, or rather a parking garage. From there we head west to the port in the town of Kalaeloa. At Barbers Point Harbor you can see a large container ship and lots of harbor cranes, so you can’t really miss the area and destination for the challenge.

To complete the challenge and receive the reward, simply drive from the parking lot or garage in Waikiki to Barbers Point Harbor to the west within 3 minutes. Even if you’re not the best driver, completing the challenge is relatively easy as the vehicle required for the challenge is quite fast in the form of the M$ Liberty Walk Edition.

The Crew Motorfest: Collect reward

The new The Crew Motorfest was released a few days ago and the game once again offers numerous challenges in which you have to prove your driving skills. There are numerous races to drive in the various playlists, through which you can not only earn experience points and money, but also unlock various rewards. Anyone who has just completed a playlist may be asking themselves, how do you collect the rewards in The Crew Motorfest?

Collect rewards in The Crew Motorfest?

While you can get some rewards such as experience points and money after the race, some rewards still have to be picked up separately. But how does that work? You can collect the rewards via the main stage. There are three so-called timelines in the main stage menu and these include “Revisit” and “Race” as well as “Discover”. Behind the individual timelines are the playlists and so for the “Revisit” timeline, for example, you have to complete the activities from the Hawaii Scenic Tour, American Muscle or Made in Japan playlists. You can then pick up the rewards in the “Mainstage” menu and these include, among other things, XP boosts or legend points, which you can use in the legend menu for useful advantages and other boosters. The important thing is that you can only collect the rewards on the main stage once you have successfully and completely completed three playlists.

The rewards for the challenges can be picked up in the playlist view under “Challenges”. To do this, select the completed challenge and collect the reward.

Didn’t receive your cart reward? If you haven’t received the car reward after completing a playlist, you should drive to the starting point of the playlist and pick up the reward there. Normally this should always happen automatically, but for some players it doesn’t happen.

Update: For some players, the message “Collect reward” still appears on the individual playlists. According to our research, the “problem” seems to affect some players of The Crew Motorfest if you look at the linked Reddit thread about it. Apparently this is a bug and no solution has been found yet, but it will probably fix itself in the coming days.

Can you actually sell cars at the new The Crew Motorfest?

The Crew Motorfest: Turn off the engine, repair the car and lower it?

The new The Crew Motorfest was released a few days ago and, like the previous parts, the game is enjoying great popularity again. Even though most of the game functions and features in The Crew Motorfest are pretty self-explanatory, we sometimes asked ourselves various questions while playing. This included, for example, the question of whether you can lower a car and how you can repair the broken car. We also asked ourselves whether there was another way to turn off the engine and therefore the car.

Switch off engine

Even though there is no button in The Crew Motorfest that allows you to turn the car off and on again at the push of a button, you can turn off the car by changing the car. So open the menu and select the desired vehicle under the “Vehicles” section of the profile. You then sit in the car when it is switched off and you can, for example, switch to photo mode if you want to take a photo of the vehicle when it is switched off. The important thing is that the engine switches on automatically as soon as you press the accelerator.

Repair damaged car

In The Crew Motorfest there is a small damage model in which entire car parts do not fly off, but scratches and other small damage are visible after crashes. If you don’t want to drive around with a dented car or a cracked windshield, you can easily repair the car by standing in place for about 30 seconds and not pressing any buttons. As soon as the camera pans around the car start, the car is automatically repaired. At the same time, the dirty car is also washed.

Lower the car?

As in The Crew 2, there is no direct option in the tuning menu to lower the cars. In some vehicles, such as some cars from American manufacturers, you can slightly “lower” the car by installing other springs. But you shouldn’t hope for too much here, as the difference is very marginal.

The new The Crew Motorfest was released on September 11, 2023 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series and Xbox One.

The Crew Motorfest Make Money and Money Glitch?

In the new The Crew Motorfest you can unlock over 600 vehicles. In addition to cars, this includes quads, motorcycles, speedboats and airplanes. For all vehicles you need one thing and that is money in the form of Bucks or the premium currency Crew Credits. Anyone who has just plunged into the adventure of the new The Crew part may be asking themselves the question, how can you make money quickly?

Earn money and farm

As in the previous The Crew parts, there are numerous ways in which you can earn money in The Crew Motorfest. A lot of the money is earned through the races and challenges in the various playlists. You also earn some money through the little challenges that you find in the game world. There are also some races that provide very good experience points for leveling up and unlocking parts, especially at the beginning, but also bring in good money. These include, among others, the following races.

  • Giant Of Ma’ili’s
    • 15,000 EXP
    • 28,175 bucks
  • Explorers of Moana
    • 15,000 EXP
    • 28,175 bucks
  • Wonders of Ko’olau Poko
    • 18,000 EXP
    • $33,750
  • Wild Heart of Ko’olau Loa
    • 18,000 EXP
    • 33,750
  • Kingdom of Lani
    • 20,000 EXP
    • 37,500 bucks

You complete the “Kingdom of Lani” flight race in a good six to seven minutes and receive not only 20,000 experience points but also 37,500 money. The race in the Hawaii Scenic Tour playlist can be unlocked quickly and, if you can reasonably get to grips with the aircraft controls, completed quickly.

  • Achieving Immortality Race: Another good race to make quick money is “Achieving Immortality” race in the Lamborghini Playlist. Even if you first have to invest some money for the car, you only get 11,250 money, but the race only lasts 1:30 minutes and is therefore over very quickly.
  • Kiss Me Combo Race: If you are further along and have completed the vintage playlist, you should check out the “Kiss Me Combo” race on the Windward Coast. The race is also very short at 2 minutes and brings in around 14,000 money (activate Tuned and Clean Driving mode).

More races will follow soon.

Earn more money through perks and legend points

In the driver menu you can distribute the legend points you have earned and increase the “Rich” option under “Comfort”. This also gives you more Bucks at the end of a race. We have already created a guide on how to get the legend points. In addition, as you progress further in the game, you can also unlock perks such as the “Rich” perk, which increases the amount of Bucks earned by a certain percentage (between 1-3 percent).

Money glitch for The Crew Motorfest?

In the previous The Crew parts you could quickly earn money through various money glitches, or rather cheat by exploiting a bug, for example. According to our research, no working money glitch has yet been found for The Crew Motorfest on the PS5, Xbox Series or PC, but that’s probably just a matter of time. If something changes here soon, we will add the information here.

The Crew Motorfest Change vehicle: Select car, boat and plane

In the new The Crew Motorfest you once again have the choice between different vehicles. In addition to road vehicles such as cars, quads and motorcycles, there are also boats and planes, as in the predecessor. If you have just plunged into the adventure of the new The Crew Motorfest, then sooner or later the question arises: which button can you use to change the vehicle? For example, how can you switch from a car to a boat and vice versa?

Change vehicles in The Crew Motorfest

There are two ways to change vehicles in The Crew Motorfest. On the one hand, you can call up the menu and then call up the “Vehicles” via the “Profile”. The garage then opens where you can see and select all unlocked and purchased vehicles.

You can also change the vehicles in The Crew Motorfest using the quick menu, which some players may remember from its predecessor and is much faster and easier. All you have to do is press the right analog stick (PS5 and Xbox Series) or the F button (PC). This opens the quick menu and you can switch between vehicle, boat and plane without having to access the menu.

Change vehicles via the quick menu

  • PS5 and Xbox Series: Press the right analog stick and select the vehicle using the buttons displayed
  • PC: Press the F key and select the vehicle using the buttons displayed

The change is direct, so if you are flying through the air in an airplane and switch to a car or boat, then there is a small crash landing.

The Crew Motorfest: Change time of day and weather?

Anyone who has already spent an hour or two in the new The Crew Motorfest will have probably already discovered the weather system in addition to the day-night change. There are different weather conditions from bright sunshine to rain. The rain and the wet roads affect the driving behavior of the car and in the dark the attached lights such as the underbody lighting are of course much more effective. In this context, some players may ask themselves, can you manually change the weather or the time of day in The Crew Motorfest?

Set the time and weather manually in photo mode

The short answer is, yes it can, but only under certain conditions. You can change and set the time and weather in The Crew Motorfest manually, but this is only possible in photo mode.

  1. Open photo mode using the control pad to the left.
  2. Use the Square button (PS5) or the X button (Xbox Series) to open Settings and then switch to the “Environment” tab.
  3. Here you can now set the weather and time of day as you wish.

As soon as you leave photo mode again, the weather and the set time of day are reset to how they were before using and switching to photo mode. Since this was already the case in its predecessors such as The Crew 2, you probably shouldn’t have the highest hopes that anything will change in The Crew Motorfest.

How do you actually get Legend Points in The Crew Motorfest and can you reset and redistribute Legend Points?

The Crew Motorfest Precision: Even closer challenge

After successfully completing the six races in the “A Porsche Story: 911 Legacy” playlist, you will gain access to the side activities and challenges. As in the other playlists, many of the challenges can be completed quickly in the Porsche playlist. But there are also one or two challenges where you don’t immediately know what to do. This may also be the case for some players of The Crew Motorfest in the “911 – Even Closer” challenge. The description says “Achieve precision 5 times over 100 km/h in free driving”. But what significance does precision actually have and what does it mean?

Complete the Precision Challenge in The Crew Motorfest

In the “Precision” challenge you have to drive very narrowly between two cars. If you’ve spent a minute or two in the world of The Crew Motorfest, you’ve probably seen the “Nearly Passed” bonus that appears on the screen whenever you narrowly pass a car. For the precision challenge, you now have to walk very narrowly between two cars without touching either vehicle. The hardest part of the challenge is finding two cars that drive close to each other or behind each other. For the challenge, it’s best to travel to Honolulu in the south and look for cars passing each other at intersections and traffic lights. Every now and then you come across a few cars on the country roads during the day that, with a bit of luck, you can just drive through.

It probably doesn’t matter whether the two cars are coming towards each other or driving next to each other or in front of each other. As long as you narrowly pass the cars within 1-2 seconds, the precision challenge should appear complete. For the challenge from the “A Porsche Story: 911 Legacy” playlist, you have to drive the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Timeless Edition 2020 five times between two cars.
