Change of schedule for Xbox Game Pass June 2023. Microsoft announces more releases than expected, with titles loved by their communities and critics in the lot.
Summer is fast approaching and so is the period of big announcements around video games. The Summer Game Fest promises its share of revelations again this year and Xbox will once again participate in the festivities. The American giant will hold its own conference on Sunday June 11, 2023 to shed light on the future portfolio of the Xbox Series. It will also be an opportunity for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to discover potential future hits that will join the catalog as soon as they are released. Many expect surprises for the occasion, including new additions. On the other hand, it is additional departures that have just been made official.
More releases than expected for Xbox Game Pass June 2023
June could once again be full of surprises for Xbox Game Pass members. Before finding out if Microsoft has some unexpected additions in store, the Redmond company confirms that there will be more releases than expected this month. When the program for the first half of June 2023 was announced, the green brand had only listed six departures, including Chorus, Mortal Shell and Serious Sam 4. In reality, 13 games that will leave the Xbox Game Pass from June 15, 2023. Here is the updated list:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge was also a critical success when it launched last summer. Dotemu’s beat’em all is a true love letter to the license and to games of the 16-bit generation. Xbox Game Pass subscribers who love turn-based strategy games will also have to deal with a big loss. Total War Three Kingdoms will be among the new releases this month.
For the record, this episode immerses you in ancient China and allows you to recreate the epic conflicts of the time. Two popular games offered to Xbox Live Gold subscribers
In June, owners of Xbox Series and One subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate or Live Gold will be able to enjoy two very popular titles for free thanks to the traditional “Xbox Games with Gold”. The first of them is Goodbye, an indie game developed by Mischief. You can download it for free from 1er to June 30. In this first-person narrative adventure, you play as a Kansas farmer. The man, who engaged in illegal activities with the complicity of the mafia, decides, one day, to return to the right path. But things won’t be that simple… The software has received rather positive reviews from the press and players on Metacritic.
The other game available to Xbox Live subscribers in June 2023 is called The Vale: Shadow of the Crown. A story-driven action-RPG with the ambition to offer “immersive gameplay that literally puts the player in the skin of the character”, can we read in the official description of the game. A title that takes advantage of all the potential of 3D audio and controller haptic feedback to accommodate the visually impaired as well as the sighted. In short, an audio game that resonated with players. In 2021, the title was even nominated for the Game Awards in the category of best innovation for accessibility. The RPG puts us in the shoes of a blind character and forces us to find our bearings by sound. The game developed by Falling Squirrel can be downloaded for free from June 16 to July 15, 2023. Remember that a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate also gives access to Xbox Live Gold.
