Hogwarts Legacy character doesn’t speak: No voices on the Switch

A few days ago, the Harry Potter adventure called Hogwarts Legacy was also released for the Nintendo Switch and is enjoying great popularity there despite some bugs. Even if there are some graphical downgrades, Hogwarts Legacy is definitely worth seeing and a good experience, especially in handheld mode. Anyone who has bought the Switch version will perhaps have the same problems with the voice output that we (and many others) had at the beginning. The problem is that the voice acting sometimes doesn’t work properly and the characters don’t speak. The question arises, what is the cause of the sound problem and is there already a solution?

Hogwarts Legacy: No voices on the Nintendo Switch

If the characters or even your own character does not speak and no voice output can be heard, then according to our research this could be due to various reasons. Sometimes it helps to simply quit the game and start it again, but the problem kept reoccurring for us. Ultimately, we were able to solve the voice output problem by changing the console language of the Nintendo Switch from German to English and then changing the language in the game from English to German. We have the “solution” or rather the workaround linked Reddit thread discovered.

For other players, the only time the characters shouldn’t speak is when you’re playing Hogwarts Legacy on the Switch in dock mode on the TV. In addition to the “change language” trick described above, changing a sound setting is said to have solved the problem. The sound setting is the surround sound setting, which you have to set to “Automatic”.

Presumably the audio issues with non-speaking characters in Hogwarts Legacy on the Switch will be fixed in one of the upcoming updates (as will hopefully the other bugs). Until then, the solution described above by changing the system language on the switch should help.

It’s basically what every fan of Bryan Lee O’Malley’s work dreamed of: an anime adaptation of the story in the same style as the comics that started it all. However, after the 2010 film, the characters’ voices also earned a well-deserved legacy among the community, and it is a tremendous pleasure to know that the Netflix series will also respect this. With this in mind, what voices in Latin Spanish will we hear this November 17?

Although we still do not have all the confirmed voices in Latin Spanish, we know that searched for the original actors of the 2010and many of them agreed to play their roles again, such as the actor Moisés Iván Mora, who we will hear after 13 years give life to the charismatic Scott again.

Just like him, many more answered the call, as you are about to discover:

respects its roots, including Latin dubbing. In fact, outside of the narrator we hear in important events in the story, all the voices we heard in the 2010 film will be the same in the Netflix adaptation, except those not yet confirmed. It may not be a big deal to some, but veteran fans will undoubtedly appreciate the extra effort that went into making this animation.

The series will be a trip to the past!

When is Scott Pilgrim coming out on Netflix?

arrives this November 17 exclusively on Netflix, and in addition to the Latin dubbing, the original voices in English are also the same ones we heard 13 years ago. You don’t have to watch the movie or read the comics to enjoy it, so you can rest easy knowing that your experience will be the same, although old fans will certainly take away several references and unforgettable moments as an added bonus.

PS5 voices too quiet: make voice chat louder

Anyone who uses voice chat on the PS5 about a game or a PS party may ask themselves the question, why are the voices on the PlayStation 5 so quiet compared to the normal game sound? How can you do that? Make voices louder on PS5 and the Increase the volume of the voice chat can.

PlayStation 5: Voices too quiet in Party

If the Voices too quiet in voice chat on PlayStation 5 then you can generally adjust the game sound a little quieter (or adjust it to the volume of the voices) and increase the volume of the headphones/headset, and on the other hand you can also adjust the volume of the PS Party in the voice chat settings Customize voice chats and make them louder or quieter. The setting or more precisely the slider for the voice chat volume can be found as follows on the PlayStation 5.

Increase volume in PS Party

  1. Using the PlayStation button on the DualSense controller Open Control Center.
  2. In the control center under the “Game Base” the corresponding Open PS Party and voice chat and display.
  3. In the voice chat settings you can now not only start a screen transfer or leave the voice chat again, but also Adjust the volume of the voice chat.
  4. Simply adjust the slider next to the speaker symbol to the desired volume and the voices in the voice chat should be heard much better and louder than before.

In some games with integrated voice chat, for example the current Call of Duty part on the PlayStation 5, you can also find separate options in the sound settings regarding the voice chat volume and the sensitivity of the microphone. So if you continue to have problems with quiet voices, you are probably using voice chat in a game and not voice chat in a PSN party.

Can you actually change the LED color of the PlayStation 5’s light strip and if so, how does it work?
