Palia: Find Fire Breathing Dragonfly

In the new Palia, when exploring the areas, you will not only meet some animals, but also some insects. Some of the insects are, among other things, suppliers of the silk threads, which in turn are required for the production of silk on the loom. Also, you have to get some bugs for quests or for certain crafting recipes. Sooner or later, one or the other player may be looking for the fire-breathing dragonfly and wondering where to find the dragonfly. If you are asking yourself the same question, this short Palia guide can help.

Where to find the fire breathing dragonfly in Palia

The fire-breathing dragonfly or the Firebreathing Dragonfly can be found in Kilima Valley not far from your own property. To the west of the lot are Mirror Fields and Mirror Pond Ruins, where the dragonfly can spawn. According to current information, the two areas are the only locations where you can discover and then catch the fire-breathing dragonfly.

Like other insects you have to drop the dragonfly with the smoke bombs and after one or more hits (depending on the smoke bomb) you can pick up the dragonfly. Incidentally, the fire-breathing dragonfly spawns both during the day and at night, but is somewhat rarer compared to other insects such as moths, so that you sometimes have to search for something. In most cases, however, it is enough to just do a few rounds and you will find around three to four of the fire dragonflies.

Tip: This is how you can improve tools like the ax in the cozy MMO Palia.

Prevent and get rid of Palia weeds

Anyone who has already planted one or the other field with vegetables in the new Palia will certainly have become acquainted with the weeds in the fields. While you can still quickly remove the weeds by hand at first, this is quite time-consuming and annoying, especially in larger fields. So the question arises, how to get rid of the weeds in Palia? Is there anything I can do to prevent weeds?

How to get rid of the weeds in Palia

There are several ways to prevent weeds. On the one hand, certain plants and vegetables have the property that the plants around them do not grow weeds as quickly or at all. On the other hand, there are also special fertilizers that can be used to get rid of the weeds.

  • “Prevent weeds” property: The plants in Palia have certain properties that are also transferred to other plants. For example, the carrots and onions prevent weeds from growing on the plant itself and on the plants next to it. The bonus effects can also be viewed on the panel by pressing the G key to examine on the panel.
  • Use fertilizer against weeds: In addition to seeds, you can also buy fertilizers such as the weed-ex-fertilizer in Zeki’s shop. By applying the weed-ex-fertilizer on the fields, the growth of weeds is prevented.

Are there other ways to clear the fields of weeds in Palia? If something has changed here in the meantime, we would be happy to receive a brief note in the comments.

Palia: Anglerbrew, Shimmerfin, Longnose Unicornfish

How to make Angler’s Brew in Palia? Where can you find the shimmer fin or the long-nosed unicorn fish? In the last few days, perhaps one or the other player of the new Cozy MMO, who is currently doing the Jina Quest called “Vault of Waves”, will be dealing with these questions. In the quest you have to get some items to unlock the four bundles. For the Magic Bundle you have to get, among other things, the above-mentioned Anglerbrau or the enchanted carp, but where do you actually get the items from?

Anglerbrew

The Anglerbrew recipe can be bought from the fishing robot Einar. Requires fishing skill at level 5 and 1,000 gold coins. You can then use the recipe to create Anglerbrew from 1x Emerald Carpet Moss and 1x Crystal Lake Lotus.

shimmerfin

The Shimmerfin can be caught in the waters in Kilima Village. We caught the Shimmerfin at the jetty where Einar can also be found during the day. The important thing is that you have to use a worm as bait to get the shimmerfin on the hook.

Cursed mollusk

You can also catch the enchanted pika in the waters of Kilima Village like Shimmerfin. Instead of a worm, you have to use a firefly as bait to hook the mollyfish.

Long-nosed unicorn fish

Last but not least, the longnose unicorn fish is missing. In order to catch the unicorn fish, one must first travel to the shores of Bahari Bay. Once there, all you have to do is throw out the fishing rod during the day and use the fireflies as bait. After a few tries, you usually get the long-nosed unicorn fish you’re looking for.

Palia inventory full: Expand and enlarge bag

Anyone who has already spent an hour or two in the world of the new Palia will certainly have found and picked up some items. While many items are then used again or set up in the game world, there are also some items such as materials that are left in the inventory for the time being. Sooner or later the message “Inventory is full” or “Overflowing. Make room in your bag” and nothing can be picked up anymore. In addition to the question of how to empty the inventory and throw away or sell items, the question that usually arises afterwards is how to expand the inventory. When can you get the inventory upgrade and increase the size of the bag?

Increase inventory in Palia

Yes, you can increase inventory in Palia. All you have to do is drop by good Zeki in Kilima Village. In Zeki’s shop you will find a table with a backpack on the left side. The backpack is the inventory and buying the upgraded backpack increases inventory slots. The first inventory upgrade costs 500 gold and increases the inventory slots by 8. The next upgrade then costs 5,000 gold. There are a total of three inventory upgrades that can be used to increase inventory slots to a maximum of 40 slots.

Store inventory items in the chest

Since you don’t have to lug around all the items in your inventory all the time, you can also move the items from the inventory to a storage box. The simplest storage box can be made very early in the game at the workbench with 20x sapwood and 2x flints. The storage chest has space for 400 items.

Throw away or sell items

If you no longer need the items, you can also sell them to the dealer and earn gold with them. If there is no trader in sight, you can also throw away the items from the inventory. Items will be lost in the process, so be careful what you throw on the ground. To do this, simply open the inventory and drag the item out of the inventory.

Palia earn money quickly: farm gold

In the new Palia you need, in addition to some materials, one thing in particular and that is gold. The gold is the currency in the game and you need the money not only for sales at the dealer, but also for upgrades and other things. For this reason, the question arises, is there a trick with which one can make money particularly quickly? In this article we have summarized a few tips on how to farm money quickly early in the game.

Earn money and farm in Palia

There are numerous ways to earn money in Palia. At the beginning, the fields where you can grow vegetables and sell them after the harvest are particularly useful. Another good way to make some money in the meantime is to hunt for chapaas and sernuks. The animals drop various materials such as antlers and tails, which you can’t sell for very much gold, but can be farmed relatively quickly and easily. Last but not least, fishing is also a good way to make money.

Make money fast with oysters

One of the currently best methods to earn gold quickly is because of oyster farming. The oysters can be found on the beaches around Beachcomber Cave and are easy to collect from the beach. In addition, you can also find mussels, crabs and snails in the areas, which also bring in some money. You should take the purple crabs with you, in particular, as they are significantly more valuable than the orange crabs.

With the oysters there is even a special feature, because the closed oysters can be opened in the inventory. In addition to the oyster meat, with a bit of luck you can also get a pearl. The simple pearl brings 70 gold and the green pearl a whopping 145 coins on sale. Since you can farm the oysters quickly, you can earn a lot of money in a short time. If you farm the oysters for around 30 minutes, you can easily collect 5,000 to 7,000 gold. The oysters are particularly easy to farm at night, as they glow slightly and are easier to find.

Use money cheat and cheat gold?

Finally, the question arises, is there a money cheat in Palia? The short answer to the question is no, there is no such thing as a money cheat or money hack. The game is permanently online and synchronizes the score including all activities with the server. Maybe sooner or later there will be a money glitch or something similar, but its use is not allowed and the bug will probably be closed within a short time.

Find and farm Palia Oysters

Anyone who has already been to a beach in the new Palia will certainly not only have discovered many fish in the water and small animals such as crabs or snails on the beach. Some items can also be found on the ground in the beach areas and these include seashells, corals and oysters. In this short guide we will show you where to find the mussels and oysters and why it is worth farming the seafood.

Find clams, coral and oysters

The mussels, corals but also the oysters can be found mainly on beaches. A good farming area is in Bahari Bay around Beachcomber Cave and Windy Ruins. In the area you will find a very long beach where some shells, corals and oysters lie in the sand and can be easily picked up. You can also find crabs and snails on the beach, which you should also take with you, as they also sell well and can be used to earn money (especially the green crabs). The “seafood” is easy to find, especially at night, as it glows slightly and can be seen from afar.

Update: Not only has the oyster spawn rate been reduced recently, but you can no longer find oysters on the beaches in Palia. The problem should probably be fixed with one of the upcoming updates. Even though you can no longer find oysters on the beaches, shells and corals continue to spawn.

Why should you farm oysters?

If you want to earn money quickly in Palia, you should farm the mussels and especially the oysters. The oysters fetch good selling prices and have the special feature that they can be opened. To do this, open the inventory and then right-click on the oysters. In the oyster you will not only find oyster meat, but with a little luck also a pearl. The pearl can be sold at the merchant for 70 gold each. In addition to the “normal pearl” there is also a green pearl that can be sold for 150 gold. If you farm the beaches in Bahari Bay for around 60 minutes, then with a bit of luck you’ll have around 5,000 to 7,000 gold.

Delete Palia character? Create new character?

Before you can embark on the adventure of the new Palia, you must first create a character. The character creation is quite extensive and you can make numerous changes to the appearance in the editor. At the end you have to give the character a name and the adventure can begin. If you have already spent an hour or two in the world of Palia, you may ask yourself how can you delete the character? The question often arises when you are no longer satisfied with the name or the appearance of the character. But is it even possible to create a new second character in Palia and start all over again?

New char: create second character in Palia?

The short answer is, at least for the current version, no, unfortunately you cannot delete the character in Palia at the moment. It is also not yet possible to create a second character, since there is currently only one character slot available per account. So the only thing you can do is create another account. If you are no longer satisfied with your character in Palia, you may not have to create a new account at all, because you can also change the character’s appearance in the wardrobe. To do this, simply go to the dressing room and interact with the wardrobe in your own four walls and, in addition to outfits, you can also change your appearance.

Name cannot be changed

The only thing that you can’t change later in Palia right now is the name. Since Palia is currently still in the open beta and some changes will certainly follow in the future, it will probably only be a matter of time before you can delete a character in Palia or create another char. As soon as there is new information about this, we will update this article.

Finding Palia Buttons: Item Procurement Quest

In the “Item Procurement” quest you have to get three different items like Hekla in Palia. In addition to a potato and fabric, this also includes buttons. While you can get the potato and the fabric relatively easily, one or the other player may have similar problems as we did with getting the buttons. In this short guide we will show you where to find and get the buttons easily.

Find buttons, potatoes and cloth for the item procurement quest

  • Potatoes: You can either plant the potatoes yourself and then harvest them after five days, or you can buy the potatoes from the Family Farm for 180 gold each. Not cheap, but you can save yourself some time (5 days of growing time = 5 hours/60 minutes per day).
  • Cloth: The cloth can be made from cotton at the loom. You can also plant the cotton yourself using the cotton seeds and then harvest it after 5 days. Alternatively, you can also buy cotton from the farm for 180 gold.

But now to the actual question, where do you get the buttons in Palia from? In order to get the buttons, you don’t have to do much, contrary to what you might initially expect. All you have to do to get the buttons is to drop by the good jel located in the Tailor Store in Kilima Village. In the conversation you can then ask him about additional buttons and then you will receive them without anything in return. With the three items it goes back to Hekla and the quest is successfully completed.

Palia: Find and farm Silk Thread

Where to get a silk thread in Palia? How to farm the silk threads and which enemies drop the material? In the new cozy MMO Palia there are various materials that are needed for crafting. Sooner or later you will also need silk and for the production of silk on the loom you will need silk thread. Often you already have a few silk threads in your inventory, but then you can no longer remember where you found the material. If you feel the same way, this short guide can certainly help you.

Get Silk Thread in Palia?

The silk threads can be obtained from certain insects in Palia, at least most of them. For example, the Golden Glory Bee or the fire-breathing dragonfly in Kilima Valley drops the silk threads. But also in other areas like Bahari Bay you can find Azure Stonehoppers, Bahari Glowbugs, Hairy Millipede from which you get the silk threads. Since the insects can usually be found quite frequently, especially in Bahari Bay, you can also farm silk thread quickly.

How can you catch the insects? The easiest way to catch the bugs is with a smoke bomb. To do this, equip the belt and then throw a smoke bomb at the insect.

insect locality
Golden Glory Bee Kilima Valley
Princess Ladybug (Princess Ladybug) Kilima Valley (Kilima Lake)
Firebreathing Dragonfly Kilima Valley (Mirror Fields and at the Family Farm)
Azure Stonehopper Bahari Bay (Hideaway Bluffs)
Bahari Glowbug Bahari Bay (between 18:00 and 03:00 only)
Leafstalker Mantis Bahari Bay (in the North)
Hairy Millipede Bahari Bay (on the fields)
Stripe Shell Snail Bahari Bay (between 18:00 and 03:00 only)
rare Bahari Bay

Making Silk from Silk Thread

In order to be able to produce a piece of silk from the silk thread, you need a loom and the plan for the silk. The silk plan or recipe can be purchased from Tish in the Funiture Making Guild Store for 1,500 gold. We have already created a guide on how to unlock and get the cloth loom in Palia. A piece of silk can then be made from five silk threads on the loom.

This article is still under construction. More information will follow shortly.

Find Palia Juniper Seeds

Where to find the juniper seeds in Palia? Which dealer can you buy juniper seeds from? In the past few days, perhaps one or the other player of the new Palia from Singularity 6 will be dealing with this question, who either needs the seeds for the weekly wishes of the residents or wants to plant a tree on their own property. In this short guide we show where to get the juniper seeds from.

Where to get the juniper seeds in Palia?

The juniper seeds are the “tree seeds” in Palia. You can use the tree seeds to plant wild trees on the property yourself. For the juniper tree (trees with the orange leaves) you need the juniper seeds and you get them similar to the other tree seeds by chopping down the respective trees with the axe. Every time you cut down a tree, there is a small chance of getting the tree seed as well, like in this case the juniper seed. Sometimes you have to cut down around 8 to 10 trees before you get the seed. The juniper seed is automatically collected when you pick up the wood.

Plant wild tree over juniper seed

If you don’t want to use the juniper seeds as a gift for the residents’ weekly wishes, then you can also plant the tree seeds on your own property, as mentioned. To do this, you have to press the H key on the property to open the “build mode”. Then you can select the seed on the left and place it in a free spot. The tree then stands in its place, without having to wait for it to grow. Unlike the seeds for vegetables, the wild trees you plant yourself do not have to be watered regularly.

Tip: This is how you can buy more soil in Palia and unlock more fields.
