Trust GXT 714 Ruya Gaming Chair Review – Gaming on a Cloud

If you want to play games, you need a good place to sit. Of course, lying on the couch is fine, but a good gaming chair is certainly not a bad idea. Can Trust make a contribution with the Trust GXT 714 Ruya Gaming Chair? Find out in our Trust GXT 714 Ruya Gaming Chair Review!

Chairs for gaming are always special. When you think of such a chair, you can almost already shape it in your mind. Flaps on the sides of the seat that curl up, a pillow at the height of your head and again flaps that pull in at the lower back. Add two armrests that are often adjustable and a lever to fold the backrest backwards and the picture is complete.

Sitting on clouds

Trust does not change this design, but that is not necessary for the chair that costs 199.99 euros. The design is there for a reason, namely that it provides a lot of comfort when you sit in the chair. That is certainly the case with the GXT 714 Ruya. It largely has to do with the material used.

The chair has thick foam under the leather upholstery, which ensures high-quality seating comfort. Even during long gaming sessions, there is no sore butt at all and the undersigned must admit that it can even happen that you fall asleep in the chair if you throw the backrest back.

Of course, the chair is also height adjustable, just like the armrests. What is striking is that the armrests cannot be adjusted forwards or backwards. That’s a shame, because when you move the backrest backwards, you suddenly miss the armrests.

Ease of construction

A nice addition comes in the form of the two cushions that you can easily attach to the chair. These are intended as additional back and head support. The larger pillow for the back is best. You can easily adjust the height via the elastic straps, allowing you to sit in the chair more ergonomically.

Attaching the cushions is indicative of the rest of the installation process. If you pick up the manual and follow the clear steps, you will have the chair ready within twenty minutes and you can start using it right away. Everything for installation is basically in the box, so no additional tools are required.

Important

Perhaps the least fun part of assembling the chair is the weight. When the chair is complete, it weighs 19 kilograms. You don’t want to lift it too often, so it is advisable to assemble the chair on the floor where you want to use it. It doesn’t really matter that it’s in another room.

The GXT 714 Ruya is equipped with wheels and rolls surprisingly smoothly over the floor. It makes it seem as if the chair is not as heavy as it actually is. The fact that the GXT 714 Ruya weighs 19 kilograms does have its advantages, because the gaming chair can carry up to 150 kilograms.

Trust GXT 714 Ruya Gaming Chair Review – Let’s get gaming!

All in all, the Trust GXT 714 Ruya Gaming Chair is a wonderful chair that does many things very well. That all starts with building it, which is extremely easy and after which you can easily roll the chair anywhere.

The seating comfort is good, the design is convenient and adaptable in many ways. Only the fact that the armrests do not fully participate in this is quite a shame. Yet, for this price, that is a downside that we are happy to take for granted.

Good taste is in simplicity

As we have told you before, we have already talked to you in detail about this model when its Chinese version was presented, but we think it is important to mention some elements that you will surely like very much. Among them, we would like to mention that Both its physical connectivity and its design are quite simple but, despite this, we have compatibility with VESA support and HDMI Display Port 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 connections.

Furthermore, another aspect that we love is the panel that Xiaomi has chosen to equip in this model. We are talking about a 27-inch IPS screen with a Full HD resolution and refresh rate of up to 100 Hz, specifications far above what we are used to in this range of products.

And, if this is not enough, this screen also has other quite interesting aspects such as a maximum brightness of up to 250 nits and a response time of only 6 ms, all accompanied by some imaging technologies such asTÜV Low Blue Light, HDR 10 and even a Delta E value <2.

Xbox Game Pass: Has 60% market share in gaming subscription services according to analysis

Image: Microsoft / Depositphotos

With Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft has a 60% market share in gaming subscription services.

According to an analysis of subscription services such as Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Plus, the impact on the gaming industry is rather small compared to the music and film industries.

According to Piers Harding-Rolls of Ampere Analysis, such gaming subscription services account for just 4% of revenue in North America and Europe.

That would be just 3.7 billion of the 81 billion generated from games (discs, downloads, add-ons) in these regions.

If you look at the music industry, it’s just a drop in the ocean. Streaming services like Spotify accounted for 83% of revenue there last year.

According to the analysis, Microsoft will continue to have a 60% market share with its 25 million Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

Deal : LC Power LC-M32-QHD-165-C-V2: Gaming at a competitive price!

A lot of pictures for little money? This is what you get with the LC Power LC-M32-QHD-165-C-V2. SamaGame reveals in the test what else sets the gaming monitor apart.

Table of contents

  • High quality, but only tiltable
  • What the product name says
  • Curved for gamers
  • Buttery smooth gameplay
  • The resolution is completely sufficient
  • Bright and high contrast
  • Geared for gaming
  • LC Power LC-M32-QHD-165-C-V2 in the test: Conclusion

“LC Power? Never heard of it.” That’s probably what most gamers will answer when asked about the German hardware manufacturer. LC Power has been on the market for over 20 years and has specialized in production inexpensive computer hardware specialized. The 32-inch model, which has been available since August 2023, deserves special attention.Gaming monitor LC-M32-QHD-165-C-V2. The strongest selling point: The screen is available over the counter for the ridiculous price of 240 euros. In this test we will clarify whether the part is good to play with.

High quality, but only tiltable

The LC-M32-QHD-165-C-V2 is installed and ready for use in just a few simple steps. Despite its low price, the workmanship is first class, and the metal base ensures it stands firmly on the desk. The rear view of the LC Power is impressive thanks to the individually adjustable RGB lighting and is visually reminiscent of Samsung’s Odyssey series. Compared to about this Odyssey Neo G8 However, the ring on the back cannot be made to glow. The ergonomics options of the LC-M32-QHD-165-C-V2 are also limited. The screen can only be tilted. It cannot be adjusted in height, swiveled or turned into portrait format.

What the product name says

On the other hand, the monitor was convincing in almost all other areas. Many of the inner values can already be found in the product name. The LC-M32-QHD-165-C-V2 comes with a large 32-inch display, (W)QHD resolution (Wide Qetc High Definition) and a refresh rate of 165 Hertz. The “C” stands for Curved. Thanks to its expansive size (80 centimeter screen diagonal!), up to three DIN A4 windows can be placed next to each other, making the monitor also suitable for working or multimedia applications. If you use Excel a lot, you should use a flat panel to get a flat row display.

Curved for gamers

However, the curvature is perfect for gaming. The manufacturer compresses the display with 1,500R. The information means that the panel is curved with a radius of 1,500 millimeters (i.e. 1.5 meters). This allows gamers to delve even deeper into the game.

Buttery smooth gameplay

Particularly important for gamers: a high refresh rate. Thanks to the 165 Hertz image frequency, the LC Power updates the image 165 times per second. This ensures wonderfully fluid movements when playing and ensures that opponents literally appear on the scene earlier. Short switching times are required so that what is happening on the screen is not only fluid but also streak-free.

The switching time describes how long it takes for a pixel to switch from black to white or between different shades of gray. Due to their design, VA monitors often have long switching times, which can lead to the formation of streaks when moving quickly. It’s different with the LC Power: the monitor takes just 6.1 milliseconds to change the image. In the test, the short response time ensured that the panel did not smear even during hectic movements.

The resolution is completely sufficient

The monitor is also sharp enough for gaming. With its WQHD resolution it shows 2560×1440 pixels, which enables a detailed image impression. The color fidelity is somewhat low at 96 percent, which leads to minimal green cast on faces in films and series – but the very high color space coverage in the sRGB range (99 percent) ensures an overall crisp color representation. However, the LC Power is unsuitable for photo and video editing: the monitor only covers 87 percent of the HDR color space DCI-P3.

Bright and high contrast

The contrast of the LC-M32-QHD-165-C-V2 is impressive. Thanks to a ratio of 4,351:1, particularly dark scenes come into their own when gaming (and watching films). The monitor is also bright enough with its 408 candela per square meter. In the test, the factory brightness setting (level 43) proved to be sufficient even in daylight.

Geared for gaming

The connection options are more than sufficient. In addition to dual DisplayPort, the LC Power has HDMI on board. Only a USB hub is missing. The monitor scores points with its extensive gaming features: FreeSync and G-Sync are on board to counteract image tearing. The FPS counter is also useful for gamers (frames phe second).

LC Power LC-M32-QHD-165-C-V2 in the test: Conclusion

Price-conscious gamers can hardly ignore the LC Power LC-M32-QHD-165-C. Although the monitor doesn’t cost much, it impressed in the test with a high refresh rate, short switching times and rich contrast. The only drawback is the lack of height adjustability.

Acer announced two backlit gaming monitors based on quantum dot technology

Acer has announced the release of two 27-inch LCD gaming monitors. Both new products use backlight modules based on quantum dot technology (Quantum Dots). Important advantages of this technical solution compared to currently widely used LED backlight modules are a wider color gamut and reduced power consumption while maintaining the same brightness level.

“Our line of gaming monitors has been expanded with two new models created using Quantum Dot technology. Modern gaming reality is closer than ever to the real world,” said Victor Chien, president of Acer’s monitors and projectors business group. – Predator X27 delivers stunning visuals with 4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and Acer HDR Ultra technology. Our new Acer Predator Z271UV will also delight fans of computer games, because the curved display will convey the finest shades of any color and enhance the effect of presence.”

The Acer Predator X27 monitor screen has Ultra HD resolution (3840×2160 pixels). Maximum brightness is 1000 cd/m2, pixel response time (GtG) is 4 ms, viewing angles are 178° on both axes. The color gamut of this model covers 99% of the Adobe RGB space.

This display features Acer HDR Ultra technology for maximum contrast and high dynamic range, while advanced local dimming divides the screen into 384 sections and lets you control the backlight in each section.

The maximum frame refresh rate at 3840×2160 resolution is 144 Hz. Support for NVIDIA G-Sync image synchronization technology has been implemented.

The design of the standard stand allows you to adjust the height and angle of the screen, as well as rotate it left and right.

The Acer Predator Z271UV monitor screen has a curved shape (curvature radius – 1.8 m) and a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels. The color gamut of this model covers 125% of the sRGB space. The pixel response time is as low as 1ms (GtG) and the maximum frame refresh rate is 165Hz. This allows for high image clarity even when displaying fast moving objects. Support for NVIDIA G-Sync image synchronization technology has been implemented.

To connect video sources, the Acer Predator Z271UV monitor has DisplayPort and HDMI inputs. The display panel housing has a 4-port USB 3.0 hub. To reproduce sound, there is a built-in stereo speaker with a power of 2×7 W with Acer TrueHarmony technology.

One of the interesting features of the Predator Z271UV is the built-in Tobii controller, which, using non-contact optical sensors, can track the user’s gaze direction. If this function is supported in the games you are using, this makes it possible to control the movement of the sight, camera or virtual character using your gaze.

The design of the standard stand allows for height adjustment (within 120 mm) and screen tilt angle (from –5 to 25°), as well as its rotation left and right (up to 30° in each direction).

Both new products feature a suite of Acer VisionCare technologies, which includes Flickerless (to eliminate backlight flickering), BluelightShield (to reduce the intensity of the blue component in the spectrum of light emitted by the screen) and ComfyView (providing gradual dimming of the screen). These solutions make it possible to minimize the load on the user’s visual apparatus and thereby provide the most comfortable conditions during long gaming battles.

Acer Predator X27 and Predator Z271UV monitors will go on sale in our country in the third quarter of this year. Retail prices of new products will be announced separately.
