Some Asus Zenfone 8 and ROG Phone 5 have ramdump issue

Users are reporting ramdump issue on Zenfone 8 and ROG Phone 5, which does not allow to use the phones after this defect appears.

As the Asus Zenfone 8 and Asus ROG Phone 5 are new phones, many users started to complain about this flaw.

In addition to the problem arising, if the device is not under warranty, to solve the case, it takes a lot of money.

Ramdump issue affects Asus Zenfone 8 and ROG Phone 5

Many users are using Asus forums and the internet to reveal that they are having ramdump problem on Asus Zenfone 8 and ROG Phone 5.

People reveal that there is no pattern for the problem to arise, you can be playing games, using apps and even without the phones being in use.

Affected devices simply show a black screen with many items written, in green we have the message “Waiting for flashing full ramdump”, which means the phone is waiting for the full ramdump to be placed on the device.

When this message appears, some users can still revive the phone by holding both the power and volume buttons at the same time, but you have to hold it for a long time, until the bootloader screen appears completely.

In other cases, people have been unlucky to solve the ramdump issue on Zenfone 8 and ROG Phone 5.

The solution for most who find this defect is to contact Asus assistance, but to everyone’s surprise, the manufacturer’s solution to this problem is to change the device’s motherboard, a piece that alone, often has practically the price of a new phone if the device is not covered under warranty.

In recent months complaints have started to increase about the problem, Asus has already commented on the case, check it out:

“The company is aware of the issue and is currently monitoring its prevalence on a global scale. At least so far, it has only affected a very small portion of devices, and the frequency of occurrence may seem higher than it actually is in an active forum thread for which Asus offers an open Zentalk platform.

According to Asus, the ramdump/debug mode is not the cause of the crash, but a consequence, which in turn can be a symptom of many different failures, such as a charging circuit problem, a motherboard failure, or some other random failure. In many similar situations, phones from many other manufacturers get stuck in a black screen, boot or logo scene, while Asus phones display this ramdup/debug mode.

All users with a valid warranty and no obvious external damage to the phone are entitled to warranty service for the issue. Asus promises to fix this issue on devices with a maximum service time of 5 days + delivery time. If a problem occurs, it is recommended that the customer contact their local Asus support/service.”

[HOT] : How to fix Mass Effect Legendary Edition Part one crashing issue

Some players on Xbox One and Xbox Series S / X are experiencing a crash issue with Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Here’s how to fix it.

The legendary edition of Mass Effect released on May 14, 2021, and fans and newcomers to the franchise embark on the mammoth experience that is expected to take well over 100 hours to beat. However, some Shepards Commanders are experiencing a crash issue. Fortunately, there is a workaround for the Mass Effect Legendary Edition crashing issue.

Mass Effect crashing issue: how to fix

First of all, this is not a user error. Instead, Mass Effect Legendary Edition players on Xbox One and Xbox Series S / X are experiencing crashes and the issue is with the Xbox Wireless Headset.

In an article on Electronic Arts Support Forms, EA Community Manager David acknowledged the issue and explained that he is working with Microsoft to resolve the Mass Effect Legendary Edition crash issue as soon as possible with a post-launch update.

EA Support explains, “We have identified an issue with Mass Effect Legendary Edition on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, where the game will output to the dashboard if it is started while different accessories such as wireless headsets are connected.

“We are currently working with Microsoft to resolve this issue as soon as possible in a post-launch update. In the meantime, to start playing the game, we recommend that you do not use any additional peripherals until this is resolved. Wired headphones are still acceptable. “

There is a workaround for those who want to continue using their wireless headphones while playing Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

Resolve the Mass Effect crashing issue by:

  • Make sure your wireless headset is turned off
  • Launch Mass Effect Legendary Edition from the dashboard.
  • Once you’re at the game launch screen, choose Mass Effect 1, 2, or 3.
(don’t turn on your headphones yet, we’re almost there)
  • Once you are at the title screen for Mass Effect 1, 2 or 3, you can now turn on your headphones and you will be able to play with the audio working normally.

If you return to the launcher to select Mass Effect 1, 2, or 3, at any time while your wireless headset is connected, the game will close and return you to the Xbox Dashboard.

Unfortunately, EA did not provide an ETA for the crashing issue to be permanently fixed via a Mass Effect Legendary Edition patch.

At the time of writing, this is the only fix available and appears to be exclusive to Xbox One and Xbox Series S / X consoles.

How to Fix Mass Effect Legendary Edition Cannot Interact Bug

Legendary Mass Effect Edition brings many noticeable improvements to the original trilogy, though not without fail. Namely, there is an annoying bug of Mass Effect Legendary Edition which cannot interact preventing players from performing actions. When glitch button prompts stop working, and users cannot draw their guns and engage in shootouts. Fortunately, there is a quick and easy fix for anyone who plays on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and PC.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition cannot interact Bug Fix

To fix the bug of Mass Effect Legendary Edition cannot interact, pause the game and load the most recent save data. By doing this, users fix the ME Legendary Edition weapon draw issue and can now interact with characters and items.

This Mass Effect Legendary Edition interaction issue pretty much makes the game unplayable. Players are free to move around in the current environment, but cannot interact with objects and characters. This means not to travel to new areas or converse with NPCs, but also not to engage hostiles in combat. The bug prevents players from firing weapons and using biotic powers, leaving Commander Shepard completely vulnerable to attack.

Although Mass Effect Legendary Edition has an autosave feature, its usage is somewhat moderate. As such, it’s a good idea to pause the game and perform manual saves frequently. This way, users who encounter the ME Legendary Edition Interrupted Interactions bug will not lose as much progress when reloading the last save.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition introduces another bug that randomly removes game functionality. While riding the Mako, the target reticle may disappear completely. It’s quite disorienting, of course, even if there is a simple solution.

Playing Mass Effect Remasters on PC? Here are some of the frequently asked questions: Is there controller support? Does the game offer console controls? What is the DRM situation?

How to fix Mass Effect Legendary Edition stuck on loading screen issue

In many ways, play ME legendary edition is much more convenient and rewarding than reviewing the originals. This doesn’t apply across all levels, however, as a new infinite loading issue is causing headaches. The problem is that users are soft-locked when they try to access Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3 through the new remastered collection. Here is the latest on a legendary edition of Mass Effect stuck on the loading screen bug fix.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition stuck on loading screen Fixed a bug

When you are stuck on a Mass Effect Legendary Edition loading screen, allow the game to load for five minutes. If the problem does not resolve, restart ME Legendary Edition and try to load the save data again.

In most cases, this simple fix turns out to be a quick and easy Mass Effect Legendary Edition infinite loading solution. If the issue persists, players may wish to remove the game and perform a fresh install. While this is somewhat inconvenient, it’s worth potentially starting to experience the Classic Trilogy without any loading issues.

Latest PS5 firmware update fixed backwards compatibility issue

On the PlayStation 5, you can play almost any PlayStation 4 game via the console’s backwards compatibility feature. A good thing of course, but there turned out to be a small issue with streaming textures. Every now and then it could happen in certain games that textures were not loaded properly, which made it look a bit bare.

One of the games in which this can happen is Shadow of the Colossus, where some parts of the world were suddenly shown in low resolution. A small detail, given that it usually goes well. Still a point of attention for Sony, apparently, because this problem has been solved with the latest firmware update.

Gamers share across platforms including Reddit, differences that can be seen since the last firmware update. This suggests that Sony has made some adjustments to the back-end for backwards compatibility.
