What’s the deal with the message “Helper A finished the work unscheduled – No field found” in Farming Simulator 22? Why can’t the helper find the field even though his machine is standing directly in front of it or even on the field? This might be the question asked by one or other player who has bought the new LS22 and is currently working on the first fields. In order not to have to do all the individual tasks yourself, you can also rely on computer-controlled helpers in the new farming simulator who can relieve you of a lot of the work. To hire a helper, you simply have to get into the vehicle, drive to the field and press the H button (for more complex tasks or transporting goods, open the helper menu and create a job). Normally, the AI ​​helper then automatically takes over control and carries out the relevant work. But what do you do if the helper doesn’t find the field?

According to our research, the problem with the message “No field found” and “work ended unscheduled” seems to affect some players (including us). Even if we haven’t been able to find an exact cause yet, there are two things you should check if the error message occurs.

  • Is the helper with his vehicle/machine too far away from the field? It usually helps to give the helper a little boost by driving into the field and doing the first few meters of work yourself. Sometimes it helped us to leave the field for a moment and then try again.
  • The work has already been done. If you try to plow a field that has already been plowed again or to dig a field that has already been plowed, we always get the error message “No field found” when using a helper.

Since some players complain about problems with the helpers in the LS22, there will certainly be some optimizations and improvements in the future. For this reason, you should always keep the game up to date and install all available patches. Over the next few days/weeks, the small teething problems with the AI ​​helpers will probably resolve themselves through patches.

Delete LS22 fence and hedge


In addition to buildings, you can also build fences in Farming Simulator 22 using the construction mode. If you have placed a fence, then sooner or later you will want to remove it again and then the question arises, how can you remove a fence? If you want to remove a building in LS22, you actually just have to open construction mode, click on the building and then sell it. The building will then be demolished and the space can be used for something else. But things currently look different if you want to remove a fence.

For whatever reason, the fences in the LS22 cannot currently be marked in construction mode. You cannot select the placed fences and then sell/remove them like the buildings. However, there is still a way to remove a fence and that is by using the “tear off” tool. The “Tear Off” tool can also be found in build mode on the right side using the red button labeled “Tear Off”. Once activated, you can then click on the fence and remove this section by section or completely by holding down the mouse button.

  1. Enter construction mode using the Shift + P key.
  2. Click on the red “Tear off” button on the right.

You can use this method to tear down the fences at any time in Farming Simulator 22. Similar to buildings, it is not possible to move individual fence elements, which means that if you want to move a fence, you first have to remove it and build a new one.

The buildings not only include halls or decorative objects such as hedges and trees, but you can also buy production buildings using the construction mode and place them freely in the world. After a while, one or two LS22 players may ask themselves the question: can the buildings be sold again? How to remove a building or move it to another location?

Build, move and rotate buildings

If you want to build a building in the LS22, you must first open construction mode. In the PC version you can open the build mode by pressing the Shift key + P key. Alternatively, you can also select the menu item “Build” under “Other” in the dealer menu. You can then select the building you want from the categories and place it in a free space. To rotate the building you have to hold down the right mouse button and then move the mouse left or right.

By the way, a building can only be moved if you haven’t built it yet. To move a completed building, you must sell it (and remove it) as described below and then rebuild it in the desired location.

Sell ​​and remove buildings

If you want to remove a building, you can easily sell it using construction mode. To do this, open the construction mode again, select the respective building and then sell it using the “Sell” button. The building is then removed and you usually get some money back (even if not the full price you paid for the building).

For the most part, the “deco” buildings (i.e. those that were already on the map) cannot be sold or removed. Here you will probably have to wait for a mod with which you can remove the buildings and other objects set up for decoration.

The snow not only transforms the game world into a white winter landscape, but the snow also has an impact on the driving behavior of the vehicles. Some players may not want to wait for the weather to change and can make it rain or see the world covered in snow at the touch of a button. The only question is, is there a weather cheat for the LS22?

In the new Farming Simulator 22, similar to LS19, you can use a “weather cheat” and have the sun come out or make it rain at the push of a button. Before you can use the cheat code to change the weather, you first have to activate the console. You can activate the console in a configuration file as described in the linked article and then open the console in the game using the ^ key (above the Tab key).

You can then change the weather by entering the command “gsWeatherAdd”. For example, to make it rain you have to type gsWeatherAdd Rain, but if you want cloudy weather, you have to type the command gsWeatherAdd Cloudy and confirm with the Enter key. Anyone who has already bought one or two vehicles in Farming Simulator 22 may have noticed the license plate. At first you don’t usually think much about it, but sooner or later you ask yourself the question, how can you change the license plate? Where can you find the setting with which you can adjust the license plate, where can you change the tires on a tractor and what about other vehicle modifications? If you want to change the license plate or tires on a vehicle, you can do this at any time at the dealer’s workshop. To do this, simply drive the vehicle to the designated area at the dealer, interact with the wrench symbol and open the vehicle options. You can then select a vehicle in the vehicle options and configure it. Depending on the vehicle, the tires can then be changed, a front loader attachment installed and the engine version changed, among other things. Finally, there is also the option for the “license plate”, which you can set as desired. Depending on which map you are playing on, the corresponding country-specific license plates are available to choose from.

How can you increase the stall limit in Farming Simulator 22? How can you get the message “There are too many animal enclosures. Please sell some first and build more stables? This might be the question asked by one or other player who not only takes care of numerous fields in LS22, but is also very active in animal husbandry. In addition to cows, pigs and chickens, you can also keep sheep and horses. There are pastures or stables for all animals where you can house them, feed them, breed them, care for them, collect the products and sell the animals themselves. Anyone who has already built one or two stables will sooner or later receive the message “There are too many animal enclosures” and then the question usually arises as to how you can get around the limit of stables. The stable limit is currently 10 and if you try to build more stables, the above message appears. In the settings of Farming Simulator 22, at least in the current version, there is no option that allows you to change the stall limit directly in the game. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t build more stables. In order to get around the message, you can now use various mods that increase the stall limit or even remove it completely.

Dung heap doesn’t fill: why is that?

If the manure heap in the LS22 does not work and does not fill with manure even after days, there can be various reasons. The first thing you should check is whether the cows are in a good mood and have enough food or feed. You should also check whether the dung heap is close enough to the stable and whether it is the “right” dung heap. In construction mode there are two dung heaps. A pile is located under the “Buildings – Silos” category and a dung heap is located under “Buildings – Silo Expansion”. The right dung heap for the cowshed is the one under “Silo Extensions”. The other dung heap is probably used purely to store the collected dung.

By the way, if the dung heap is placed too far away from the stable, the message “A dung heap can only be placed near a stable” appears. When you are close enough to the stable, the price appears and the pile can be placed. If it still doesn’t work, you might want to move the stable one space to the left and right or forward and back so that you can try it again.

Empty LS22 baler: unload unfinished bales?


Anyone who has already mowed one or two grasses or made hay and straw in Farming Simulator 22 will probably have often picked it up with a collection or loading wagon and then transported it to the destination. Similar to its predecessors, you can also press bales in the new LS22 and wrap them with a bale wrapper. In addition to square bales, large round bales can also be produced. In this context, the question often arises not only of how to press the bales, but also how to unload the bales.

Farming Simulator 22: How to unload unfinished bales?

If you use the baler, you can see the grass, hay or straw required to produce a bale at the bottom right of the screen. As soon as the progress bar reaches 100 percent, you should be able to see the bale at the back of the baler. To unload the finished bale, you must first switch off the baler and then unload the bale using the Z button. But what do you do with the unfinished bales? Can you empty the baler completely and also unload the unfinished bale with 50 percent?

The short answer is, no, unfortunately it doesn’t work that easily (at least not without mods). There were various mods for the LS19 with which you could still unload the “Unfinished Bales”, unfortunately we have not yet been able to find the mod for the LS22. However, you can use various “tricks” to remove the unfinished bale. If the half-finished bale is made of grass and you now want to use it to make straw bales, you can simply collect the straw and after a certain amount the grass turns into straw (so you don’t end up with half grass and half straw bale). On the other hand, you can also reset the tractor with the baler via the map as in the last part and then empty the baler.

LS22 Change character: change appearance, clothing and name?


If you start a new game in Farming Simulator 22 and have selected the region, the character editor opens the first time in which you can adjust the appearance. This not only includes the appearance of the character, but also the clothing or outfit can be changed. In this guide we will show you how to get to the location you are looking for and complete the job successfully.

Farming Simulator 22: Deliver to Marisonne?

In Farming Simulator 22 there are also trains that you can use to sell the harvest. The train is equipped with various wagons that can be used to load and transport pretty much all crops. For the harvest mission with “Marissonne” you have to request a train, load the requested crops and then simply take the train out of the map. The train then travels with the wagons to the appropriate location, automatically unloads the products there and you are credited with the money and the order is marked as successfully completed (if it is an order).

You can request the train at the freight stations in the game. To do this, simply teleport to the train station or loading point via the map and interact with the I symbol (train symbol on the map). You can then use the R button in the top right to “rent a train for 1,000 euros per hour”, which will then appear in the game after a short time. You can now load the crops onto the train directly or via the silo and climb into the driver’s cab. Finally, you simply drive the train out of the map and you end up back at the loading point. The goods loaded onto the train are then sold automatically (the sale still needs to be confirmed when the train leaves the map).

By the way, the rented train costs 1000 euros per hour. For this reason, you should cancel the train if you no longer need it. This can also be done at the loading point using the I symbol and the “Return rented train” option.

LS22 too many bales: bypass the bale limit?

Is the number of bales limited again in the LS22? At how many bales do you get the “Too many bales” message and how can you cancel or increase the bale limit? This may be the question asked by one or other gamer who recently bought the new LS part for the PC or the console (PS4, PS5, Xbox One). Anyone who has already wrapped a lot of bales in the previous version may still be familiar with the bale limit of 200 bales. But are these still available in the Ls22 and how many bales can you press?

Farming Simulator 22: How many bales can you press?

Yes, the bale limit still exists in Farming Simulator 22. We were able to do so in our test Produce/press a total of 200 bales and after that it became “Too many bales” message appears. According to our information so far, the limit cannot be increased or completely removed on both the PC and the console. But what you can also do in the LS22 (as in LS19) is buy more bales from the dealer around the corner. So if you have pressed 200 bales and for whatever reason you still need more bales, you can simply buy the other square or round bales from the dealer. Unlike the self-pressed bales, there appears to be no limit to the purchased bales and this applies to both the PC and console versions.

Fill and empty LS22 silo


Anyone who has grown a lot of grain in the fields in Farming Simulator 22 will sooner or later ask themselves where you can store the wheat, millet, barley or oats. Storage not only makes sense if you use the grain to feed the animals and want to store it temporarily, but also in order to achieve higher sales prices outside of the harvest season, you need a silo to store the grain safely and dryly. In this guide we show how you can build a silo in the LS22, fill it with grain and empty it again.

Buy and build a silo

Depending on which map you start on in Farming Simulator 22, there are usually one or two silos on the farm. Of course, you can purchase additional silos at any time, provided your virtual account balance allows it. The silos can be purchased via the construction mode (Shift key + P key) under “Buildings” and “Silos” as well as “Silo Expansions”. The silos from the manufacturer Unia can be filled relatively easily as described below, for the silos from the manufacturer Meridian you still need a screw conveyor.

LS22 Change silo fill level


Anyone who has already harvested one or two grain fields in Farming Simulator 22 will certainly not always want to immediately sell the wheat or barley and oats, process them or use them as feed for the animals, but also store them temporarily . The silos, which you can buy in different sizes via the building menu and set up in a free place on your own property, are suitable for the interim storage of grain. If you want to change the fill level, you can plant new grain and unload it at the silo, but like in LS19 there is also an option where you can change the silo fill level using a “cheat”. So if you urgently need more grain, you can change the filling level of the silos at the push of a button using the following steps.

First of all, it should be said that the easiest and quickest way to change the silo fill level is when there is already grain in the silo. The corresponding silo can then be found by simply searching for the current fill level and editing the values. Alternatively, you have to search for the silo yourself in the XML file.

  1. Save the current game in the LS22 and switch to the main menu or end the game.
  2. Open the save game folder from Farming Simulator under “C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2022” in Windows Explorer and, to be on the safe side, you should copy the folder to the side again as a backup in case something goes wrong.
  3. In the savegame folder, open the “placeables.xml” with a text editor such as Notepad++ and search for the silo.
  4. For each silo there is a element and below it a element. Under the you can see not only the “fillType” (what is in the silo), but also the “fillLevel” (how much of the grain is in the silo).
  5. To change the fill level, you can now simply adjust the fillLevel to the desired value, save the changes in the file and start the LS22 or load the save.

LS22 Lost connection to the game: fix multiplayer problems?


Why does the error message “Unable to connect to the server” or “Lost connection to the game” appear in the LS22? This question may concern some players of the new Farming Simulator 22 who would like to play multiplayer with friends and receive an error message as mentioned above when trying to connect. In this article we have summarized a few possible solutions to what the causes could be and how you can fix the multiplayer problems.

LS22 multiplayer problems: fix connection problems?

  • Check internet connection: Before you look for a cause, you should of course first check your own internet connection and make sure that it is working properly.
  • Server online and crossplay activated? Is the LS22 server really online and is crossplay support enabled in the settings (if you want to play together cross-platform on PC, PS4, PS5 and Xbox One)?
  • Check firewall and enable ports if necessary: Depending on how the firewall is set on the PC or router, it could be that communication between the game and the server is blocked. The game uses port 10823 (unless otherwise set).
  • Giants servers are down: Even if the LS22’s dedicated servers run independently of Giant’s servers, the server list is still created on Giant’s “master servers”. In the past, brief disruptions have often occurred here (especially in the first few days after the release). In this case, just wait a moment and try again.   • Deactivate IPv6 or get an IPv4 address: Depending on the provider, the router sometimes no longer receives a public IPv4 address and is automatically assigned an IPv6 address. There are reports on Reddit and the official forums that this can lead to problems and disconnections with the error message “lost connection to the game”. The connection problems are said to occur more often when the server creator uses IPv4 and the players use IPv6 (or vice versa and especially in crossplay). As a rule, if you are assigned an IPv6, you can talk to the Internet provider and ask for an IPv4 address to be assigned. This is said to have helped some players.

The oil radish is a so-called catch crop. In comparison to other crops, oil radish is not harvested, but rather buried and thus serves as green manure. If you have buried the ripe oil radish, the fertilization level of the field increases and this in turn has a positive effect on the yield of the next crop that you plant or sow in the field and later harvest. The field with the oil radish will also appear light blue on the map after being cultivated with a cultivator. The oil radish grows from March to October and can be “harvested” all year round.

Since the oil radish cannot be harvested directly, it cannot be sold or further processed in a production facility. In addition, it is not necessary to fertilize the oil radish. In order to obtain the full fertilization level on the field, the field must also be fertilized with mineral fertilizer. Adjust and activate LS22 mirror


How do you activate the mirrors in Farming Simulator 22? Can you also adjust the mirrors manually and change their position? In the new LS22 for the PC and for the console there are again mirrors such as a side mirror or a rear-view mirror. The mirrors show a “live image” and are not a dummy as we know from one game or another. This means you can also use the mirrors for maneuvering and driving if you play the game primarily in the first person perspective. Some players may ask themselves, how do you activate the mirrors?

To activate the mirrors in the LS22 you simply have to select the “Max. Set the number of mirrors correctly. If the setting is 0, the mirrors are deactivated. This can ensure better performance and more FPS, but if you want to use the mirrors, you have to set them here. Depending on which vehicles you use, you should set 3-4 mirrors here. The change must then be saved using the “Apply” button and the mirrors should then be displayed in the vehicles.

  1. Start Farming Simulator 22 and open the “Options”.
  2. Open the “Advanced Graphics Settings” under the “Screen Settings” at the bottom.
  3. Scroll down and select “Max. Set the number of mirrors accordingly.

Now that the mirrors themselves are activated, the question remains how to adjust the mirrors. Is it possible to turn the mirrors up/down or left/right? The short answer is, no, unfortunately this is not possible with on-board resources. In Farming Simulator 22 there is still no function that allows you to adjust a mirror. In the predecessor in the form of Farming Simulator 19 there is a mod with which this is possible. Unfortunately, the mod has not yet made it into the new LS22.
