Samsung has released a new security update for the Galaxy A33 5G in select countries.
The Korean giant continues to deploy the March 2023 security update. In particular on certain mid-range mobiles which have not yet upgraded. The security update that Samsung is rolling out right now fixes some of the serious security flaws. It should be noted that these flaws mainly affect Galaxy smartphones and tablets with Exynos processors.
Galaxy A33 5G gets March 2023 security update in Europe
Galaxy A33 5G latest software update comes with firmware version A336BXXS5CWC2. It is currently being deployed in Europe. Additionally, it brings the March 2023 security patch which fixes more than 50 security vulnerabilities. It should be noted that other flaws will see their patches in the latest update of April 2023. This is already available for the Galaxy S23 series in South Korea.
If you own a Galaxy A33 5G, you can now download the new software update. To do this, go to the Settingsthen select Software update. Finally, press Download and install. Besides, you can also download the new firmware file online. So, you will be able to flash it using Odin tool on Windows PC.
As a reminder, Samsung launched the mid-range mobile in early 2022 with One UI 4 based on Android 12. Then, the smartphone received the One UI 5.0 update based on Android 13 towards the end of 2022. Finally, it has benefited from the One UI 5.1 overlay for a few weeks. This allows users to have access to additional software features.
