The signs for Blue Protocol things are not looking good for its impending release in the West. The console version launched in Japan in December; the service was previously running on PCs.
Bandai Namco Online had previously hosted an “emergency livestream” in September 2023. 50 percent of players in Japan were dissatisfied: the balancing was immature, the microtransactions were criticized and the endgame grind displeased fans. Class buffs and debuffs were not well received and so on.

What is the best type in Palworld?
A quick look at the type table shows this Fire-type buddy and fire-based active skills are some of the best for fighting in Palworld. Fire is strong against both Grass and Ice, but weak only against Water. No other element is strong against multiple elements.
Conversely, fighting Neutral Buddies and Neutral Active Skills has no benefit, but Neutral Buddies are still weak to Darkness. Every other element is strong and resistant to at least one type of element, the so-called It’s worth avoiding neutral buddies (sorry, Melpako).

What is the Challenge System in Apex Legends?
The new Challenge System lets you advance through the Apex Legends Season 2 Battle Pass. There are three types of challenges: Daily, Weekly, and Recurring Weekly.
Completing Recurring Daily, Weekly and Weekly Challenges will earn you Battle Pass Stars and Levels. If you collect enough Stars, they will become a Battle Pass tier. Each level you get from the Battle Pass you will get a reward.
Battle Pass rewards include custom loading screens, weapon skins, and music packs. You can find the complete list of rewards and at what level they are unlocked in the link that we have left two paragraphs above.
The Daily Challenges of Apex Legends Season 2 in detail
You can see your daily challenges in the Lobby.
Each day you will receive three new Daily Challenges at random.
These challenges can be of the type “Play 1 game as Bangalore” or “Get 1 takedown in Skeleton Village”.
The Daily Challenges are intended to be completed in short games, so they can be easily obtained at the same time as you get on with the harder Weekly Challenges.
Completing a Daily Challenge is rewarded with 3,000 Stars, so you can earn up to 9,000 Stars through this method every day.
Don’t worry if you get stuck on a particular challenge: they change every day and there are up to 200 who can touch you, so it is unlikely that you will have to repeat.
Apex Legends Season 2 Weekly Challenges in Detail
Seven new Apex Legends Season 2 Weekly Challenges are unlocked each week. A Weekly Challenge can be anything from dealing a certain amount of damage with a character to using a specific ability multiple times.
The Weekly Challenges are divided into 13 closed packs of seven challenges each. Each week you will get one of the 13 packs randomly, so you may not have the same Weekly Challenges as your teammates. However, by the end of Season 2, each player will have experienced all the Weekly Challenges in the game, simply in a different order.
Normal Weekly Challenges do not need to be completed immediately – they remain throughout the Season. If you start playing in week 3 of the Season, for example, you will have the challenges of weeks 1, 2 and 3 at your disposal.
Under each Weekly Challenge there will be at least one diamond-shaped icon. The number of diamonds indicates how many steps a specific challenge has. If there is only one diamond, for example, you will only have to complete the Challenge once to receive the reward.
If a challenge has more than one diamond, however, it has multiple steps. Each time you complete one you will fill in a diamond and the challenge will change slightly. The Challenge “Open 5 supply containers in the Swamp”, for example, can be changed to “Open 5 supply containers in Bunker”.

There are two types of rewards you can receive for completing a Daily Challenge.
The first is Stars. Four challenges out of seven will give you 6,000 stars each upon completion, up to 24,000 stars per week. The second are levels of the Battle Pass. Three of the seven challenges will reward you with a full Battle Pass level, helping you get to the top.
What are Apex Legends Season 2 Stars?
Stars are a specific type of Battle Pass experience that has been introduced in Apex Legends Season 2. That means the stars do not they have no impact on the level progression of your account.
You can earn Stars by completing Daily Challenges and Weekly Challenges. The Stars are then added to the Experience obtained in combat facing one of the Recurring Weekly Challenges.

Leather is required to make Harnesses and necklaces for your buddies. The first one is for enabling your partner’s skills, and the second one allows you to always keep your buddy with you while you’re out exploring.
To craft a Pal Gear, you must first unlock the Pal Gear workbench and place it on the ground. Once you’ve completed the building process, you’ll be able to use the workbench to craft any harness, necklace, or buddy-related item you unlock.
Where to farm leather in Palworld
The best way to farm skin in Palworld is in the open areas of each island, where you’ll always find plenty of buddies dropping skin. The best place to farm skin is the starting area The grassy hills of Bohemothwhich you will find on the Plateau of Beginnings.

The developers have not integrated any classic cheat codes into the game that you can simply type in and activate. But as is often the case in games without “official cheats”, there are various ways in which you can cheat in Dead Island 2, namely through glitches. Duplicate weapons cheat in Dead Island 2
Just a few days after the release, the first players discovered a glitch that allows you to duplicate weapons. Unfortunately, this is a co-op glitch which means you can only use it together with another player. A solo glitch for duplicating weapons or as a money cheat is currently not known.
To use the glitch you have to do the following:
Start a co-op session with a friend. The player who wants to use the cheat must be the host of the co-op session.
Go to any dealer together and the host must throw their weapons from the inventory/backpack onto the ground.
Leave the inventory or backpack window open and the host must exit the game (no auto-save may be created). Quit the game completely and be invited back into the session by the other player.
You then start the game again with a full inventory, while the weapons that were previously thrown on the ground continue to lie on the ground. You can now sell the weapons to the dealer and earn money very quickly.
By the way, the weapon duplication glitch described above can only ever be used by the host. It could well be that the developers at Dambuster Studios will sooner or later put a stop to the glitch and you will no longer be able to duplicate your weapons. If additional Dead Island 2 cheats for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series or Xbox One appear in the meantime, we will of course add them here.

Prime Video and Netflix coincide in some content in Full HD: according to our tests, the quality provided by Amazon in them is higher
In this sense, I have been doing tests comparing content available on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, which They are the platforms that offer higher quality than those that have a lot of content from different production companies (HBO, unfortunately, cannot be taken into account for this), and I have observed that Prime Video is better in Full HD compared to what the numbers said, thanks to the fact that it broadcasts all its contents in HEVC / H.265, opposite to Netflix, which below 4K broadcasts in the old H.264, a less efficient format and which, at the same bitrate, offers less quality.
H.264 vs H.265: what the theory says
H.264 is a high compression codec that began to be developed in 2003 and whose last version dates from June 2004. It has been key in the success of high definition, because thanks to its compression and quality over MPEG-2, the codec used in DVD has allowed Blu-Ray and quality mass streaming video to exist.
But like everything, it ends up becoming relatively obsolete, and for 4K video a new codec was needed, the H.265 or HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding). H.265 has been associated with that resolution since the arrival of the first 4K TVs (actually since the first generation of really prepared, because there was no content before), and is the format used in 4K Blu-Ray.
Why? The first reason is simple: it allows the space occupied by files of similar quality to be cut in half thanks to better compression algorithms. At equal bitrate or bitrate, video quality in H.265 is much better than in old H.264, and the artifacts are much less obvious.
With a lower bitrate, as we said, occupying less, H.265 is also better up to a certain ratio. It is ideal for 4K because, despite carrying frames four times larger than those of Full HD, with bitrates such as 15-25 Mbps, an image quality is obtained that without being that of a physical disk, is absolutely enjoyable on Netflix, and on all on Disney + and Apple TV +. Although looking ahead there is already a new codec war, it is important to mention that H.265 is more than ready for 8K and high frame rates.
Amazon Prime Video versus Netflix: What Happens in Practice
As I said at the beginning, I have been able to perform tests with an Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K and with an LG OLED C9 TV, both in the Fire applications and in the native ones on TV. Thanks to an Amazon developer tool, when watching video b (and HDR type etc).
With this tool I have been able to verify that even old series such as ‘Stargate SG-1’, present on Amazon without even 720p resolution (640 x 360), are encoded in HEVC / H.265, as seen in the codec section of the information that the Fire Stick 4K gives. On Netflix, on the other hand, everything that I have been able to test below 4K video is encoded in H.264 / AVC.
Above, using H.265 they look splendid and in 4K they beat Amazon thanks to their Dolby Vision. Perhaps with other devices there is better support, but in the many in which I have tried (also with PC and Mac laptops, and in summer with the Apple TV 4K) they tell me that reality is as I describe it.
To see what differences there are in practice, I have compared 1080p content found on both platforms, like the film series ‘Oceans’, ‘Aquaman’, ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘V for Vendetta’, among others like ‘Friends’, and in my opinion, the differences are very palpable, especially when viewed on televisions Large 4K.
Prime Video apps are worse, but picture quality can make up for it. The Harry Potter saga, for example, on Amazon is in 4K HDR, while on Netflix it is only in Full HD.
Netflix boasts of its compression and achieves wonders, but the truth is that with H.264 it cannot approach what Amazon achieves with H.265 in FullHD video. It is something very evident in dark scenes, or in bright ones where there are dim areas. There, the naturalness and texture of skins in low bitrates like the ones we talked about on Prime and Netflix (4-6 mbps) is conspicuous by its absence in complicated scenes on Netflix, and it holds up surprisingly well on Prime.
It shows in sharpness, but also in artifacts. With this bitrate you can never expect wonders, but where Prime Video sometimes gives you a homogeneous and fixed image in terms of color and texture continuity, Netflix gives you a video full of moving artifacts. The difference becomes dramatic in fine detail. When there is a very intense solid color reflecting off one face of the skin, for example, Prime has a hard time showing detail, for example, but on Netflix it gets to wash off completely. Let’s see concrete examples. It is a pity that due to DRM issues we cannot take screenshots, so I have chosen to take photos of the screen trying to show the differences that I saw.
Netflix compression on the Full HD content we have analyzed destroys film-grain detail and introduces artifacts that Prime Video solves much better.
The first example is from ‘Aquaman’. First we will see the photo I took on TV playing the Amazon Prime Video version and then the Netflix version. Beyond the variables that you introduce that both photos do not come out the same, andIn the case of Amazon, I see that the wrinkles on the skin are more outlined, and the skin in general has more texture. In addition, in the beard you can see that Amazon retains the detail much better when compressing. In motion, the differences are more noticeable. For those who want to do the test, this is the scene where Aquaman is with his father at the bar.
In the next scene, I have captured George Clooney’s face at the beginning of ‘Oceans 11’. Without perhaps being so dramatic the difference, because for me in the first example it is, in the cheekbone that is to the left of the nose, in Amazon Prime Video I see that the pores of the skin are clearly shown, while on Netflix, although the detail is not bad, the image comes loaded with an amalgam of artifacts I repeat, in person and in motion they are better appreciated.
In other examples of the film it is still appreciated. On this shadowed wall, in the case of Amazon Prime Video, classic film grain is seen alongside the lines on the wall, while In Netflix, in addition to not being able to appreciate the detail or the separation between the different tiles, the grain is destroyed by artifacts.
Yet another example where is clearly visible in the letters at the bottom of the poster and in the shadow detail behind the columns.
In scenes where the camera puts the emphasis on letters on a plain background, like the one we see below, it is also perfectly observed that the text on Amazon is cleaner and more detailed (despite the fact that the photo is not good), while in Netflix the detail is smoother and text is surrounded by compression artifacts. Perhaps the Amazon shot is not appreciated too well, due to the effects of the screen that the camera captures, but the Netflix problem is perfectly observed.
In the last comparison we have made, in the first chapter of ‘Friends’, there is also much more grain in the Amazon Prime Video image than the Netflix image. We may not like the film grain, but the reality is that the Blu-Ray from which the videos of both platforms are extracted contains that grain and is how the series was recorded, so it reflects reality much better. We can see it both in the face and in the yellow jacket and in the blue garment.
Since I first saw Friends in high definition, which was on Netflix, i thought the image contained a lot of artifacts on the faces and they were heavily washed, at once. Phoebe’s face is the perfect example to realize this.
In summary, it would be appreciated if Netflix could encode all its contents again to offer them in H.265 or in more modern codecs such as AV1 or H.266, because in movies and series from a few years ago and today it offers a lower image quality. And it is not a trivial topic. During the quarantine, many people complained about Netflix’s image quality outside of 4K, and we already know that it was not because it was not 4K, but because at an already limited quality, they applied large bitrate reductions, which weighed down greatly the experience.
If the content is 4K, no problemThere, those of Reed Hastings do it very well and offer Dolby Vision where Amazon only offers, in general, HDR10.

All Grasslands Protorelic Intel in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
To get your hands on the Protorelic Grasslands in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you’ll have to follow some familiar faces from Remake: Beck’s badasses. This motley band of bandits have already stolen the relic and are not going to part with it easily.
Grassland Phenomenon Intel 1: Pursuit of wild bandits
The first proto-relic phenomenon will take you to a viewpoint at the very edge of the Meadows region. Once you get to the roof of the observation tower, you will need to do this deal with Beck’s associates while he jumps with the Protorelic.
The best way to defeat them is to use fire spells to pressure them and deal elemental damage, so make sure you have them Fire Material set and ready to go.
Grassland Phenomenon Intel 2: One nice grill
The next step will require you to go to abandoned facility in the desert part of Graslands near Kalm. There is a Chocobo stop nearby which can provide useful fast travel options if you get there early.
To complete this part of the mission, you must stealthily get past the bandits who have taken over the facility. Use large shipping containers in the area to avoid their line of sight, and press circle to take cover if they come close to you.
Bandits have routine patrol patterns, so once you learn them, you’ll be able to avoid their eyes without any problems.
When you reach the main building of the facility, Beck and his friends will go inside. When you confront them, one will be left as bait while the others escape. Just defeat him to complete this part.
Intel Grassland Phenomenon 3: Diversion Tactics
There is a warehouse nearby that appears to be abandoned. This is probably the easiest part of the task.
Once you’re inside, you’ll have to guess which bandit is hiding the Protorelic behind his back (it’s not that difficult, you just need to look for sparks behind them). Once you do this, the fight will begin with more of their gang members.
When they manage to escape again, you will hear them discussing about keythat they buried. This will give you access to their hideout.
All you need to do is start a treasure hunt with your Chocobo. Once you have found the trail leading to the buried key, you will be able to start the final part of the mission.
Grassland Phenomenon Intel 4: Taking care of your business
The last part is in abandoned warehouse on a promontory near Kalm. To get into the fenced area, you’ll need the key you dug out earlier. When you go inside, you will see that Beck and his bandits are dead (!!!). Just kidding, they’re just playing dead. So it’s time to give them a rude awakening.
You will definitely notice that it exists a large container hangs above them. Pull the lever inside to drop the box on them and put them on their feet. Once you do this, you will need to defeat them, a Modified Sweeper activate.
The sweeper is weak to thunder spells, so it’s worth having them Lightning material would do well to. It can be easily scrapped by hitting parts of the weapon, so focus on them to apply pressure before you finally go crazy and strike.

The Trebuchet and Ballista they are an integral part of various attacks and defenses. Placing a Ballista on each path will help deal with larger monsters that can quickly break through your ranks. With the new “Grow Together” expansion, you can now let individual Sims stay overnight in your own household for several days. If you have invited the overnight guest, they appear with their suitcase and spend the set time in the household. For “normal guests” you can simply select the appropriate interaction and send the Sim home. But how do you end an overnight visit and get rid of the guest?

When you select the guest, at least in the current version there is nothing about “Send home” or “End overnight visit”. But there is a way to send the overnight guest home and that is via the calendar. Not only can you use the calendar to invite Sims to stay overnight for several days, but you can also easily end the action again. To do this, open the calendar in the game and the “overnight visit” should be displayed on the left side under the tab of the same name. In addition to a pen symbol, you can also see a bucket symbol with the label “Cancel overnight visit”. Before the outbreak of Covid-19 in 2020, some 170 million Chinese shoppers took overseas leisure trips, with France and Italy popular destinations beyond Asia. As a result, more than half of their luxury spending took place outside their home market, according to Oliver Wyman.
Many still yearn to travel. LookLook, an analytics company, recently conducted extensive research with its “LuxuryVerse,” a panel of 100 spendthrift Chinese women aged 24 to 42. It’s no surprise that after lockdowns, what they seem to value most is freedom.
At the start of 2023, almost half of the LookLook community has prioritized a new handbag. Today, that figure is less than one in five. On the other hand, around one in three people want to invest in travel. Europe is their main destination, while many are nervous about traveling to the United States.
Yet even these wealthy women must overcome significant obstacles to embark on the trips of their dreams. Visa issues are cited as a constraint by around a third of the LookLook panel. Spending by Chinese tourists in Europe and flight capacity increased in November, according to duty-free shopping specialist Global Blue, but both remain well below 2019 levels.
Additionally, skyrocketing hotel costs in Europe have made vacationing even more expensive. Oliver Wyman surveyed more than 7,000 middle-class Chinese in September and found that their willingness to travel abroad had declined. As the post-reopening recovery falters and economic uncertainty increases, they are choosing to save rather than splurge on vacations abroad.

VIP customers now benefit from superior service, for example in China. Many Western companies have introduced WeChat programs that allow them to communicate with and serve their best customers. At the same time, major brands have also invested in their stores in Chinese cities so that the retail experience is second to none. Luxury shopping has boomed not only in Shanghai and Beijing, but also in cities like Chengdu. Louis Vuitton menswear creative director Pharrell Williams recently visited stores at all three locations. Hainan is also growing rapidly. DFS Group, the travel retail arm of LVMH, announced in October that it would build a major shopping and entertainment complex on the duty-free island in a bid to capture growing tourism in the region.
Domestic spending will take off even further if Hainan becomes completely tariff-free in 2025, as planned. It could double its share of the national luxury market from around 9% today, dominated by beauty, to 18% in 2028, according to Oliver Wyman. The flip side is that Chinese luxury spending abroad may not rise to more than 20% to 25% of their total spending in the medium to long term, according to the professional services company.
In addition to spending on long-haul travel, security fears could also lead Chinese consumers to continue opting for destinations closer to home. Wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, as well as the recent attack on tourists in Paris, could make them think twice before traveling to Europe.
Luxury groups, including LVMH and Richemont, have noted a recovery in tourism in Hong Kong and Macau. LVMH recently held its first-ever fashion show in Hong Kong, in partnership with the billionaire Cheng family. The unveiling of Williams’ pre-fall menswear collection highlights efforts to revive Hong Kong as a tourism and business hub.
