One of the biggest bets in the CD Project RED it is in the level of choice and freedom that the player will have in Cyberpunk 2077, not only in its history, but also in its gameplay, which will present several solutions for any and all problems for players to solve.
This freedom will also extend to quests, and not just abstract things like exploration and progression. In a comment on Reddit, designer Philipp Weber talked about, mentioning how, for example, having different skills and choosing different progression paths will give players 3 to 5 choices in certain situations during missions.
Now I have to consider the different new opportunities we offer and how using them often gives you more (for example, 3 to 5 in some cases) ways to solve a mission or challenges within a mission. This of course makes search projects more complex in some areas, but it’s really fun to do.
This was to be expected, as CD Projekt RED offers some significant choices in their games. Cyberpunk 2077 has no release date, but we hope to see news at E3 2019.
