Facebook Live: disable comments and reactions
Facebook Live is a great way to see live images from your friends or other sources you follow, but the floating reactions that occur on almost any broadcast can be quite annoying. Having interactive features is great, but not so great when you’re trying to see what’s going on.
Fortunately, you can easily get rid of it when watching live video. All you have to do is slide your finger to the right on the screen. Comments, likes and other reactions will be disabled and you can watch the video in peace.
All you need to do to get them back is swipe left again; everything will come back so you can join the discussions, etc. again if you want.
Tip: If you want to disable commenting on your own live video, you can do so when setting up live video. Selecting “Live Video” mode enables this, so just choose something different, or none at all, before playing your video.
